If they love their country and don't want to see fellow Americans lose jobs to illegals. Probably consider abortion murder, especially late term when pain is felt and beating heart exists. Don't like the idea that their children can be given puberty blocking drugs without their consent, as the trend seems to be moving towards. Not too hard to reason through.
That's a bizarre claim that seems mostly fueled by hysteria. His son in law is Jewish and he's a big supporter of Israel, helping to move the embassy to Jerusalem. Hitler wouldn't have done any of that.
In other words, in direct opposition to what God supposedly commands in Leviticus 19: 33-34. But, of course, late term abortion was already illegal in most every state. But that has not actually happened without their consent. Given not one of those was true or common, and given his behavior violates most everything Jesus stood for or commanded, it remains that Christians voted for Trump in spite of their religion, not because of it. In other words, it is possible for actions and beliefs not to be congruent. So the orange Hitler-loving narcissistic rapist could both love/admire Hitler and still support Israel, especially if he saw personal benefit in supporting Israel.
Nobody, except JD Vance, said he was Hitler. You don't have to do everything Hitler did, or believe everything Hitler believed to still love or admire Hitler. You can actually admire Michael Collins without actually agreeing with him on every single point.
one of his ex-wives said he slept with a copy of mein kampf under his pillow every night, according to OAN, and his longest serving white house CoS said trump told him hitler did some good things and had the best generals, that much we know.
Point of correction: Ivana said he had a book of Hitler's speeches next to the bed. It was the orange idiot himself who said he had a copy of Mein Kampf. But don't you see? You can't trust those comments that were mentioned 30 or so years apart because they both had personal vendettas against him and he is a habitual liar (so we can't trust his own words either). Just because there is a consistent pattern of behavior, and just because he actually used Hitler-esque quotes in similar contexts in the last few months, it proves that it is all just a coincidence.
You've reinterpreted that. Not a fan of cherry picking to be honest. What exactly do you think Jesus stood for or commanded? Abortion? Gender transition? Really? It's possibly, and even probable, that rhetoric like this has moved many to vote republican. The hysteria and hyperbole you're presenting turned a lot of voters off. Hitler didn't like jews. Just saying.
Ahh, you're right. Trump is more Hitler adjacent I suppose. He thinks Hitler had some good qualities and had the best generals, according to his longest serving White House Chief of Staff, General John Kelly, a man of great integrity and trustworthiness, and the antithesis of Trump.
States Where Minors Can Consent to Gender-Affirming Care California: California law allows minors to access certain medical services, including gender-affirming care, without parental consent under the minor's rights to consent to care related to reproductive health and mental health services. California's laws (e.g., California Family Code § 6925) allow minors to consent to gender-affirming hormone therapy and other treatments if they are deemed capable of understanding the nature of the treatment. California Code, Family Code - FAM § 6925 Current as of January 01, 2023 | Updated by FindLaw Staff https://codes.findlaw.com/ca/family-code/fam-sect-6925/ (a) A minor may consent to medical care related to the prevention or treatment of pregnancy. (b) This section does not authorize a minor: (1) To be sterilized without the consent of the minor's parent or guardian. (2) To receive an abortion without the consent of a parent or guardian other than as provided in Section 123450 of the Health and Safety Code.
33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God. How did I reinterpret it? Are you saying when it says foreigners must be treated as native-born residents, it means we should treat them differently? You'll quickly see he didn't say anything about such topics because he was all about "love your neighbor as yourself" - no "unless they ...". But he certainly condemned people for lying, for deceiving, for bearing false witness, etc. If that "moved" many to vote Republican, then it simply demonstrates that they are low information voters to begin with and do not have strength of their convictions. Because it was pointed out that he admires Hitler, had a copy of Mein Kampf and kept a book of his speeches by his nightstand, people couldn't help but vote for a convicted felon and sexual offender who is a known habitual liar and sociopathic narcissist. Think about that for a second. "That mean person called Trump a name based on factual evidence, I'm going to have to vote for a sociopathic narcissistic rapist who is a convicted felon now."
Vance was man enough to say he made a mistake. What's the problem? You take his word only when it supports your belief, but not when it does not? There's a definition for that. Confirmation bias.
Ok so you're an advocate of Biblical law replacing law of the land then? Should we stone hookers now?
Looks like a states-rights issue, if what you found on Google is even true. Since neither of us lives in California, why do you feel the need to step in?
Because to them one sent the other to do his will.. Those who live by the “word” of god.. get to pick and choose which part of the gospel to believe…even church preachers have taken on incendiary language in many places -be good towards one another, love is the gateway to paradise -we are gods chosen people, cast all others into the ocean of fire.. I wonder which one Americans go for most
Bearing false witness like calling Trump Hitler possibly? Here's something else Jesus said, if you really want to go that route... Matthew 5:17-20 King James Version 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Leviticus is widely considered to be the law. Are we going to have a Biblical discussion now, just because I put a video up asking a genuine question, none of the content which you actually are discussing? I'll leave it here again. pic.twitter.com/UFGYywYK7b— Patrick Lanfear (@planfear7) November 9, 2024 Second video. Are you saying Trump did none of the things the author of that tweet claims he did? That's your opinion. I invite you to update it with the information I've just presented that dispels some of your ideas.
Where am I stepping in? I said that those who aren't in favor of laws like that are more likely to vote republican. Where am I wrong? You said it wasn't happening and that I needed better news sources. Right there you can see it is.
How is your comment: "If they [meaning Christians] love their country and don't want to see fellow Americans lose jobs to illegals" consistent with what God told the Israelites in the passage I quoted? How did I reinterpret the passage? That is what you accused me of, so you should address that specifically. You'll also note that what immediately follows the comment about treating foreigners as if they were native-born is a more general overarching command that includes that specific command: "love them as yourself". I'm assuming your "Christian" enough to know that the latter was a central them to Jesus's instructions. As such, anyone who is not doing it is not following what Jesus taught. There's no "love them as yourself unless they are illegal immigrants".
Further to this, those that oppose abortion of a fetus that is alive consider it murder, how can they support the left then? Hey, you wanted to make this about religion. Interested in your take.
You're cherry picking the law. If you want to defer to Leviticus as the absolute source of Christian law, then I can probably cite another hundred you'll be upset about. Is that where we're going? I gave one specific example (last post), that I'm interested in your take on.
