If nothing else, this thread (and others) has produced some of the most entertaining collection of left-wing sociopaths that I could ever have imagined. Twitter (X) will sorely miss the lot of you.

    I wish you well.

How dare you criticize us for electing a president who has failed at literally everything he has ever done EXCEPT play himself on a reality TV show! How can you say we're not serious?

Glad this election is finally over and we can stop pretending like Kamala was ever a good candidate. It’s sad because the democrats only hope is Pete buttigieg.

Call me pessimistic but if they won't elect a woman, they'll elect a gay man?

    I'm....skeptical.

Only if he's a "normal gay guy."

I guess J.D. Vance meant someone like Roy Cohn, though.

They won't choose her after this. Gotta chose Newsom or Andy Beshear.

It's just way too far into the future to know. Even the profile of the person needed is too hard to know yet.

What can i say, at this point it is undeniable that the US actually wants to put people like those you mentioned in charge.

I guess we'll find how that turns out.

The only way is a whacky, dumb celebrity who is good with quips. Seriously. The attention span of the average American is about 4.5 seconds. Need someone who can make funny faces on tictok and talk about useless shyte people want to hear and give very vague ideas on what you want to do. Target a specific group - big business obviously. Make up stuff like Putin is going to invade us so target him too.
No point in taking the high road anymore. We need to go to their level. because the average American is just too "consumed with life" or whatever to put together a string of decent thoughts together.

Shapiro is a good choice but only if they are moving away from progressive ideas and more towards the middle. Yet four years is a long time from now on politics.

The "political middle" in 4 years time could easily be what's considered centre right today. It's too early to make such judgements today.
