OK..LET'S SPLIT THAT BABY....Pope is the best central defender and Steve C the best full back. Let's put it that way, I will comfortable with Eddie playing right or left back....Not sure I would ever use Cherundolo as a Central defender.
Better? NWLS is the standard for best leagues for women's soccer. She should go for a different experience, but not because Europe is better.
Yup, that is about where I am. Though with recent news, I'd go optimistic (as I tend to be) and put Iowa in the blue column as well.
They did, but it's pretty clearly timed with the corona-v. Before that the crime trend was the same slow downslope as under Obama (whom I don't credit the downslope to either).
My Garmin stress graph is through the ********ing roof today. I've done a good job of channeling my nervous energy into productive uses so far, but there's nothing left to do. Now it's just s t r e s s for the next 96 hours.
Knave has just the thread… https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/the-doom-thread-gloom-despair-agony.2133083/
If I'm gonna be really optimistic: WI MI PA NV AZ GA IA But even I don't have that level of optimism. I'm a loon, but I'm not a nutter...
I don't see IA happening (it will be close but Trump will win there), but I do see 3 out of 4 among NV, AZ, NC and GA. And if that happens, it means PA, WI and MI went for Harris and we will probably know by midnight.
I'd still give the best CB to Bocanegra, based on his club career, though Pope's talent may have been greater. But Cherundolo, independent of position, is still the #1, ahead of Bocanegra. Dunno if Pope had enough footskill to play today. Definitely not on the outside, today. Pope would probably be somewhere in the top ~5ish, as of today, although one would hope that future generations of players would supercede all current top US players (so far).
