I may not agree with some of your views, and further, I question how you derive your views.

But to your credit, you at least make an attempt to make a serious argument, rather than merely regurgitating outright bullshyte and memes from Twitter. Unlike the overarching majority of a$$clowns who come here and rehash outright bullshyte, you've made an attempt.

Rep to you, and post more.

    How?

    Why?

Isn't a tank a form of "arms," and therefore protected by your 2nd Amendment rights? (Not my view, per se, but the courts have been setting exactly zero limits to one's 2A rights, near as I can tell.)

Why can't I have my own dirty bomb? Or my own stash of bioweapons or chemical weapons? They're all different types of "arms," after all.

    Agreed.

Meh, four years of "fvkc Joe Biden/Lets Go Brandon," constantly calling the left the "enemy within," calls for violence against political opponents, and Biden/the other side should just continue to turn the other cheek?

This is just returning the favor.

This is also the problem of basic decency being lost in political discourse, largely originating from the right/Trump. (Its also one reason why many see Trump as unfit for office.)

civility is the dumbest of all the GOP tropes along with the fake victimhood.

look at half a dozen of trumps truths this week and the OP is clutching his pearls?

    Oh, I agree.

I further don't recall any politician on the left calling for violence, or lobbing the same sort of garbage at the right.

Agreed. There is no "both sides" on this one.

I will, however credit Athlone for making an attempt to further an argument, as opposed to any number of trolls who can't/won't make an attempt.

It's why I told him that I can disagree with his arguments and his arguments' sources.

I mean, at this point we're litigating the apostrophe as SD also said. And I feel all sorts of icky having to point out that the f*cking Orange Felon is in this case, and this case only as far as I'm concerned, being taken out of context.

He said "let's put her there with a rifle facing 9 rifles pointing at her face". No firing squad in the world is going to give a rifle to the guy getting shot, that is clearly a reference to her being in some sort of combat environment.

In my opinion, there is enough stupid and despicable shit coming out of this moron's word hole that should horrify anyone, no need to twist his brain farts into things that they clearly are not. He is a rambling sociopath and his constant need to insult and belittle anyone not blowing smoke up his ample ass should be the story here.

The vast majority of Puerto Ricans in Florida back Kamala Harris’ White House bid and have a negative view of Donald Trump, according to a survey released days after a comedian made offensive comments about Puerto Rico at a Trump rally, the Miami Heraldreports.

The survey found 85% of those polled would vote for Harris while only 8% said they supported Trump. Six percent said that they would vote for an alternative candidate

I like reading about prehistory. Even crappy free books from Kindle. Like, wouldn’t it be cool to have lived in Doggerland?

Anyway, there was the Stone Age, then the Bronze Age, then the Iron Age. I read a book like a month ago saying we haven’t left the Iron Age.

Me, I’d argue we’re in the Irony Age, because JFC we’re awash in irony, aren’t we? It defines our era.

    :speechless:

As someone who teaches that stuff, I would suggest avoiding free books from Kindle and stick to reputable (academic) authors. There is so much garbage out there that the orange fascist wouldn't have enough dump trucks to carry it all away.

I have two hypotheses (both can be true).

First, he's essentially billing himself as the Prince of Peace now, so he's condemning hawks even though he does not have a history supporting that position.

Second, he's signalling to Putin and Xi that he will not oppose them should they want to "enlarge their borders".

I kept hearing about The Dawn Of Everything so I pulled it out of the library yesterday. I'm just trying to finish The Power Broker first. For those keeping track at home, I will begin the 704-page book when I complete the 1162-page book.

Agree with the first part…at least athlone is trying to engage. To me, either engage him on the same level or just don’t post.

As for the second part, the Supremes are just like the GOP Senate caucus. If the gun rights people started agitating for legalizing tanks, and whatever takes the place of the NRA makes it a deal breaker for endorsements in primaries, the Supremes will legalize them. They’ll vote like McConnell or his successor wants.

Not the House, they’re too crazy, and they run in gerrymandered disctricts so they’re too extreme. The Senate, though, that will work.
