I was going to post this in the media failure thread…but given the potential impact on the election (however slight…cause let’s face it this is likely baked in) I figured I’d post it here. Michael Wolf has released recordings of his discussions with Epstein commenting about Trump. My first reaction was “******** you asshole…why didn’t you release this during the primary when there was a chance it would end Trump’s candidacy”. Then I realized that if I’m doubtful this will have a big impact in the general….there was zero chance this would have affected the outcome of the primary. Plus it would have given trumps team close to a year to normalize this. Furthermore….kudos (I guess) to Wolff for releasing this now rather than in a book during the Harris administration. Particularly given the risk of a Trump presidency and the likelihood that in that presidency Seal Team 6 will be paying Wolff an official visit. BREAKING: New revelations from a transcript of Michael Wolff and James Truman’s podcast expose a twisted, toxic connection between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. In this bombshell conversation, Wolff and Truman break down Epstein’s firsthand accounts of Trump’s manipulative,… pic.twitter.com/frF7wO3Vls— Brian Allen (@allenanalysis) November 1, 2024
A quick check of Wikipedia finds this meme is true. Geez. It just shows how a core principle, maybe THE core principle, of MAGA is unaccountability. Every rule, every dictum, is situational. Are we punching down, or punching up, THAT is all that matters.
https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbo...ds-on-porn-sites-will-deter-trump-voters.html Someone has created an ad, and a PAC to pay for it. The ad is running on porn sites, and highlights that Prohect 2025 wants to ban porn. Now that’s a big tent!
My own mood has turned from very sour 2 days, or a lifetime, ago, to pretty good. Here’s why. 1. Trump is panicking about Pennsylvania, his most gettable Old Midwest industrial state. 2. Campaigns know not just the party registration and gender and race of early voters, but also the ages. They have bigger data operations than even the largest news organizations. 3. This is me speculating, but something in the PA data has Trump spooked. My guess is that their strategy of turning out low propensity young male voters isn’t delivering. To me, young voters often work retail or restaurant or part time jobs that make early voting on a random weekday easier and less time consuming. My guess is that the data is showing young women are voting and young men are not. 4. Harris’ campaign stops suggest an aggressive strategy to win states that aren’t must haves, and they have access to the same kind of detailed data. In short, both campaigns are acting as if Pennsylvania isn’t the be all, end all state, and it’s Trump panicking over that, which suggests he’s the one losing there.
Nah. I’ve seen those ads, being in NC. It’s aimed at dads wanting to protect their daughters from bathroom rapes and hard fouls in basketball.
Overtones is doing some real lifting there. JITTY, you have to promise not to laugh to hard at the Jewish GOP PAC guys when they get to the gulag!!
Too late....My vote last week already took her over the top....(admittedly not a hard talk in the people's republic of Maryland) As an aside, the amount of pro Hogan/anti Alsobrooks material I am getting is insane. My mail box is full after 2 days.....I am even getting the Epoch times now...Those people are either crazy or desperate or both. Apparently Bolton is behind the PAC pushing Hogan...Tough luck, mothe********ers.....
Nah. Josh Marshall has been covering this story. The GOPs’ databases are useless. They’re wasting lots of money sending mail to hard core Dems.
Remember people worried about inflation? It started with the COVID checks. Informed voters know this, conservatives voters don’t, or pretend otherwise because they’re trolls. https://jabberwocking.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/blog_pce_inflation_trump.jogging Eh, not showing up.
That's encouraging about Pennsylvania, but we'll see. What's your sense about North Carolina's prospects?
I read, I don't remember if it was here or elsewhere, that early older voter turnout in PA is well below expectations. Given that would be a GOP demographic, if true it could explain this. That said, they also might be more likely to show up on election day anyway, given that's how they've always done it. Personally, I'm feeling much more optimistic than I should (to the point I'm wondering if a body snatcher has taken me over or maybe I'm hallucinating). I just feel the way the orange Hitler-loving felon is alienating so many women and minority groups that it might not even be close. I'm sure I'll live to regret that, so I best go back to being pessimistic.
No question. The question is whether his murder was an official act. His direct knowledge of the sitting president’s history of rape and pedophilia represented a significant National security threat after all. I can’t believe I wasn’t joking when I wrote that.
Wisconsin has been in the spotlight for the last 2 Presidential elections, so nothing new here. Yet, I'm certain that Wisconsin will go Harris. And this goes hand in hand with AOC having the bullseye put on her as well (and H Clinton?). It ties in nicely to the masculinity theme discussed above.
Ironic that the guy who hooked up with a porn actress will surround himself with minions wanting to ban porn, but there you go.
I retract this comment. He was calling out Cheney for being a chicken hawk (something we’ve all done to all of the right) for being all about supporting sending troops overseas. This is completely misrepresented.
What is misrepresented there? She is not a member of the armed forces, suggesting that she should be in some war zone and facing guns pointed at her means what?
