I know crowd sizes are small to modest for Trump and Vance events in general. But it makes me wonder (again) at the almost complete lack of local offices supporting their campaign (again, just one in all of PA). If you have almost no one in-state prepping for these events, it has to affect attendance. Beyond that, and specific to Vance, is there any history of Trump supporters coming out to watch anyone other than their cult leader? Vance is a nasty piece of work, and so I guess you could assume that if he mimics Trump’s lines, the base would come out and cheer for him, too. But Trumpism is about Trump, not his asshole sidekick.
Nappy Führer needs a dementia test BREAKING: In a stunningly senile moment, Donald Trump attempted to show off how much he knew about the Air Force by suggesting Bagram Airfield was in Alaska. It’s in Afghanistan. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this failure and know he’s senile. pic.twitter.com/UA4iG3ygpR— Democratic Wins (@DemocraticWins) September 18, 2024
Regardless if Kamala wins, the senate is flipping Republican so I feel comfortable in whatever result in November since nothing will pass that she wants.
Not who you're asking, but Tester has led in one poll in 6 months, so the Senate's pretty much a wrap barring something entirely unexpected.
Im reminded of April when he highlighted major crimes involving illegal immigrants he used that backdrop to just amp up his rhetoric Good, no coding put it straight out with no soft words like “some” Trump: Democrats said please don’t call immigrants animals. I said, no, they’re not humans, they’re animals. pic.twitter.com/LV6rUxcEab— The Intellectualist (@highbrow_nobrow) September 16, 2024
Which Variety of Authoritarianism Is Trumpism? It shares features with fascism but its closest ideological kin at the moment is Orbánism When Fascism came into power, most people were unprepared, both theoretically and practically. They were unable to believe that man could exhibit such propensities for evil, such lust for power, such disregard for the rights of the weak, or such yearning for submission. Only a few had been aware of the rumbling of the volcano preceding the outbreak.” — Erich Fromm https://www.theunpopulist.net/p/which-variety-of-authoritarianism
Yup! I do only see anti Trump stuff so just want to counter the other side but hope everyone votes and gets their voices heard regardless of the outcome
The big airbase in Alaska is Elmendorf (formerly Elmendorf Air Force Base, now Joint Base Elmendorf). There's also Eielson Air Force Base. So not really close. And Bagram was in the news semi-regularly for over a decade. A decently informed person should know what it was, and know it has nothing to do with Alaska.
This gives him too much credit, but could he mean Burgan Oil Field in Kuwait or Bakken Oil Field in North Dakota?
Look at the polling outfits that have polled Montana, though. The only legit one was Emerson six weeks ago, who had Sheehy up by two. And even Emerson generally has a slight GOP lean. So the Montana race is hardly settled.
More than 100 former national security officials from Republican administrations and former Republican members of Congress endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday after concluding that their party’s nominee, Donald Trump, is “unfit to serve again as president,” the New York Times reports.
Every time Vance speaks, I wonder if time travel is real. He sounds like he came from 1924.He also sounds like a phony trying to appeal to a caricature, and like someone who's spent too much time on 4chan. That combines to create a very repulsive image that voters don't trust.— Lakshya Jain (@lxeagle17) September 18, 2024
Even Nate Silver is coming to the dark side. Today's update.Clear signs of post-debate growth for Harris in national polls, where she now leads by 2.9 points.https://t.co/vsGVG18HHI pic.twitter.com/9TjeyBuPoU— Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) September 17, 2024
