I didn’t listen to the podcast…but I’ve seen a couple of quotes from it where the headline/comment was “Nancy goes after Biden” and when I read what she said it appeared to me like it was way more along the lines of “Nancy goes after Biden’s staff”.

Given how careful Pelosi is with her words…I strongly suspect that a lot of Dem leadership had questions about Biden’s ability to make it through a competitive campaign…and may feel like his staff (both presidential and campaign) were less than forthcoming about Biden’s abilities. I read that as a warning shot from Pelosi saying “this stuff is way too important for you shitheads to hide this from us. Tread lightly over the balance of this campaign or we’ll bury you on the 21st of January and you’ll be lucky to get a job working for the local dog catcher’s campaign in the future”.

I read some of her comments as well. There were unnecessary. I strongly believe there is no need to expand on any internal discussions and deliberations. I am surprised she even get into that territory. Of all people, she should know better.

they all knew. the problem is Biden wouldn’t step down and they didn’t want to try to publicly call him out.

remember Biden said he was 1000% staying in and then Pelosi went on TV to say it was his decision and she’d accept whatever it was lol. in other words she didn’t accept his decision at all.

JD is walking on thin ice......

New York Times: “Mr. Trump dismissed out of hand donors’ suggestions that he replace Mr. Vance on the ticket. But Mr. Trump privately asked his advisers whether they had known about Mr. Vance’s comments about childless women before Mr. Trump chose him.”

“And, at the Aug. 2 fund-raiser, according to two people with knowledge of what took place, when a donor at the round-table discussion asked about Democrats trying to paint the Republican ticket as ‘weird,’ Mr. Trump replied: ‘Not about me. They’re saying that about JD.’”

You really believe your own kool aid...lol....Seriously, if Biden had decided to stay, what would have happened? Do you think most of the delegates would have not voted for him at a roll call?

This is a pick and choose. Some had him slightly ahead (a point or two), some had him slightly behind (a point or two), some had him behind more than 2 points. And it differed from state to state to national. But your phrasing suggests all was lost BACK IN JANUARY. That was not clear. Yes, Biden was struggling and the challenge to get him elected was high, but prior to the debate he was behind, but close. Post debate is a different story.

Self awareness is dead and buried.....

Donald Trump had some unkind words for Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) last night in Montana.

Said Trump: “His name is Jon Tester, and I don’t speak badly about somebody’s physical disability. But he’s got the biggest stomach I have ever seen. I said, I swear that’s the biggest stomach. I have never seen a stomach like that.”

i never said all was lost in January. rather he was consistently behind. things looked more positive after his strong state of the union. however the warning sign was he was still behind after dumping a tonne of money unopposed in the swing states around Trumps conviction and still being behind (if close)

what i have said many times is that if Bidens weakness was structural (aka too old) no clever campaign strategy would fix it. this was the known unknown in april 2023 when he declared.

K has immediately taken D states back off the table while putting battlegrounds back in play. a very good sign.

meanwhile Donny is too old to campaign properly. sad and weak and scared.

Wow, it's shocking that the campaign for the guy who left White House documents lying around his gaudy palace in Florida has an issue with internal security.
