Walz is a fantastic communicator. That's another big upside.

We are in uncharted territory, kind of. A wannabe dictator who states in almost every interview now that if he wins, he wants to abolish democracy.
And still probably around half of Americans will vote for him. It's kind of crazy.

Usually these guys kind of have to hide their true intentions a little bit until they win a majority!

The problem is you want to engage the youth that there is gonna be a different future and Shapiro singles free reign to Bibi.

Also @Dr. Wankler it is not what he said when he was 20! It was him not saying, "I have grown a lot since was the last kid as we all have since our 20s. I have a greater understanding of how much more complex the situation is and that the Palestine people deserve our respect and the right to live in peace." He said what, you asking me about what I said when I was 20? You see the problem?

All of the Biden must go people said we needed a fresh face to energize the base and get he youth vote out. He hurts that a little bit. That little bit might be key to winning. So let's not do that and go for Walz. I want Senator Astronaut but no one has been as good on TV as Walz so I can see him winning.

Also, point of order, it is the Rust Belt not the Russ Belt. I don't know Russ, I think he posts here but we won't body shame and judge him by his belt size.

Rust belt refers to the steel belt and manufacturing region of the (North) Central part of the country that got crushed by globalization and all the factors are now rusting!!

In a perfect world, Walz would be the guy, but in this world, hmm. Whoever loses PA is going to have an exceptionally narrow path to victory, and for Harris that means winning one of the southern states. That would be a tough road for her. Yes, Walz could help in Michigan and Wisconsin, but it seems like we are better situated in those states (especially MI) than we are in PA with Appalachia slashing its way through the center of the state. So, a little regretfully. I think she should pick Shapiro.

I listened to Conway's interview about Anti-Psycho Pac

I am attracted to the idea, because I think it's the real issue with Trump, and one the media really has steadfastly ignored talking about for years. Like they talk about all the individual outrages, but they don't go on from there to state that he is obviously mentally unfit for office. Yet with Biden they did do this. That's the one part of the framing they I will concede to Tigers and co.

So sadly I don't think we live in a world where the establishment will take notice

@dapip If you are gonna make an Xweet run of posts, can you put them in tweet thread? I don't mind the occasional, Xweet, but a bunch of them cause loading issues.

But seriously, all this optimism is bad news. You're all setting yourselves up for some serious disappointment!
