I'm guessing they are also trying to stretch it out for the media - it means we have "breaking news" on a regular basis, ensuring the orange fascist is not dominating the news cycle.

Besides, I find it extremely hard to believe that Obama would not endorse Harris. They are just holding on for maximum effect.

I mean attacking childless women is awful enough but isn't Harris a stepmom? Do republicans not believe that step moms are moms too? My wife's mom (step mom to 4 kids) would very very much disagree with this.

 

Depends if she joined the kids’ family after they were out of high school or not?

One could also argue a step-parent isn’t really a parent if they aren’t involved much, but the same could be said of many biological parents.

It’s all stupid, regardless the argument. It’s hard to convert and retain youth in fundamentalist religions and cults, so new stock is required to keep it going.

Two things.

First, Republicans want to end no-fault divorces, so, in that world, Emhoff should still be married to his ex-wife.

Second, it isn't necessarily the performing the duties of a mother that count, but the act of giving birth the counts. In that world, Emhoff's ex-wife would be the one that counts.

 

Emhoff's children were 20 and 15 at the time he married Harris.

 

They don't believe gay parents are "real parents" either. Hence his attack on Pete Buttigieg not being a father, even though he was in the process of adopting children at the time.

Widows and orphans? The GOP says ******** them, it's what Jesus would have wanted. You know, the single Middle Eastern guy without kids that Christians "worship" - that Jesus.
