There are three different five-continent "models" out there, and only one if them keeps Europe and Asia separate. I know it's the most common one out there of the five-continent models, but it makes the least sense politically and geologically. There's only one Eurasian plate but separate North & South American plates, plus more countries contiguously straddle the "border" between Europe & Asia than over any other continental "border". But I guess it makes sense that European schools would want to keep Europe separate, and a colonization mindset would lead to grouping the Americas together I guess.
I'd be up for either Japan or Australia/NZ. 32 teams is a lot though. 24 seemed a magic number IMO though many would argue 16 is Best.
I get the one we have here in Europe and the one with Eurasia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania, but what's the third one? Just the same, but exchanging Australia for Oceania?
One that groups both America + Eurasia and also includes Antarctica (i.e EURA, AMER, AFRC, AUST, ANTA)

South Korea withdraws bid for 2023WWC https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2019/12/13/sports/soccer/ap-soc-womens-world-cup-2023-skorea.html
More and more bids are withdrawing: Belgium, Bolivia, South Korea (joint with North Korea), South Africa are now gone.
It's still between Japan and Australia/New Zealand. The three CONMEBOL bidders can drop out already, too.
Japan and AUS/NZL are certainly the frontrunners, but there's no reason to count out the South American bids until we see what's in them. To date, FIFA has only granted WWCs to traditional powers, which doesn't count out Brazil, and we know the MWC has often recently gone to a nation that has a patchy or nonexistant record of qualifying. On top of that, FIFA keeps saying they really want to "grow the game" in WoSo. Colombia and Argentina are great opportunities to do so assuming they prove they'll have the infrastructure to do so and an organizing committee excited to do so. (That is, a group who will make the WWC a big deal, especially after the lackluster showing in France.)
Very solid point there. But perhaps the sexism in Latin American might prove a hindrance and Japan or AUS/NZL is a fare safer bet.

Something peculiar that I had not noticed before. There is one continental model that excludes Antarctica, all other included it. But there is no 3 continent model, one that would exclude Antarctica and have Americas, Euroasiafrica and Oceania/Australia.
I would have Japan and Australia/NZ as my favourites, but obviously Brazil have organised the men 2014 WC, they know what to do. Lobbying will be strong from all parties in the next few months.
Just read that FIFA may introduce the women’s World Cup every two years. Are the men’s going to do that too? Not sure if it’s a good idea considering there are olympics and Euros and so on.
