I'm curious how many players from Canada's U20 team (83s and 84s) that are playing in Charleston for CONCACAF qualifying in November are currently playing for US colleges. Obviously any players on the Canadian team - or any other teams, for that matter - will miss games with their college team during qualifying and I'm curious how many schools will be impacted by qualifying.
Very few Canadian players will be from US colleges. The only possible selections I can think of off hand would be Winston Marshall who I think is at Wright State, Josh Simpson, Portland State and possibly Drew Matthews who plays at a college in Kentucky (can't recall which one). Other than that, most of the players are either in Europe or playing domestically.
Also Alex Chursky is attending University somewhere in the Seattle area if I recall correctly - I believe he scored against the US in the recent U20 2-1 victory over them a number of weeks back in the friendly tournament in Houston.
