https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/82-003-x/2021001/article/00002-eng.htm Which TV channel do they follow? Homelessness is a widespread social concern in Canada and many other developed countries. More than 235,000 people in Canada experience homelessness in any given year, and 25,000 to 35,000 people may be experiencing homelessness on any given night. OK, we can label them as gamblers, drinkers, lazy ones. This might pass. But, are they really? Article from above mentions working families. So, it's better to sleep at work, watch TV streams or better yet sit at at home as unemployed subject. We must bring Trudeau in every home Just-In-Time. People are blind. They are amazed with food coupons, discount for their 256 GB of smartphone space, cheaper tickets for Space Jam movie and another Marvel super-dooper hit in September. Education, good healthcare, economy are not that important.
Struggles in Parliament, fear of leather armchair loss. Potential Government collapse. The situation isn't that peachy, birds don't sing the paradise melodies.
Sadly you have a point here. I went to Home Depot today and my purchases came out to $16 even. I gave the cashier $21, and she looked at her register for about 10-15s trying to do the math because she punched in $20. I said "$5 dollar bill y'all" and she giggled that she didn't know why the register was saying something else. Wow, how hard is it to figure out? No Math = No Logic No Logic = No independent thought No independent thought = do what government tells you Very sad. There's a study out there that has explained this in more detail, but the point is made.
My family is mostly from Quebec. Sorry for not being politically correct like Trudeau who speaks 18 languages. The education costs fortune. Heavy bank loans for 18th century French literature at University. Teachers earn a lot through additional instructions in natural sciences. Intentional and systematic sabotage of natural sciences in educational institutions. Sabotage - French word. Math, chemistry, physics. F = B x I x l (length). Sounds like BILL who creates the Force (F).
In a parliamentary system the Prime Minister can request that an election happen at pretty much any time. Many/most countries do have a maximum amount of time between elections, but the Prime Minister can request a "snap election" prior to that. "Dissolving Parliament" is the first step in that process and means that all of the members of Parliament are, essentially, fired and have to go through an election to get their job back.
No. Election campaigns in Canada are not as long as here in the US. Once a snap election is called, it is generally only a month or two before the election happens. During that time, there is no parliamentary activity going on and the parties are out campaigning. In this case, Trudeau wants to have the election on 9/20 (less than a month from now)
So essentially nothing get's done for that month until a new government is elected. Hmmm....not bad I guess...a month of fck up's off
Fix the urgent problems, fix the system, chance for efforts, global poverty, inequality, climate change. Advocate changes, agenda... This is all nice, in theory. Anyone with university degree, with stronger speaking abilities can create nice, attractive, motivating sentences. Plus, if you add a lot of empathy, courtesy that embrace often pathetic and universal values. I can write all day about dignity, integrity, values, evaluation of deeds, missions, future, humanity, planet Earth, Mars (our future residence). I would understand this, if we don't see: - poverty - weaker education among people - juvenal, adolescent, adult violence - low salaries, long working days in office, at home. I doubt that people feel authentic safety. Who is responsible for poverty? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Trudeau The obvious descendant of colonists became fighter for human rights. And we see anti-colonial activism of different groups around the world. Trudeau's maternal great-grandfather Thomas Bernard was born in Makassar, Indonesia[12] and immigrated to Penticton, British Columbia, in 1906 at age 15 with his family.[13] Through the Bernard family, kinsmen of the Earls of Bandon,[14][15][16] Trudeau is the fifth great-grandson of Major-General William Farquhar,[17] a leader in the founding of modern Singapore; Trudeau also has remote ethnic Malaccan[18][19] and Nias[20][21][22] ancestry. This sounds as cruel colonialism? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-philippines-canada-waste-idUSKCN1T10BQ https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-48455440 If you promote ecological quality, you can't send trash in some other country. It seems that Canada doesn't appreciate Philippines? Close to Indonesia, Singapore, where his ancestors ordinated and created colonial democracy. So, place trash above the fence and you resolved ecological issue. But the trash remained. It wasn't recycled for car industry, fashion industry. This is painful topic for me, since I am aware of ecological issues. If Liberals send trash, it's amusing. If Conservative makes the same, it becomes the scandal, affair.
By this model or another? By every poll I've ever taken I'm bottom center left, so according to this graph we're both following shams. Personally I think they're all bullshit because they all force you into accepting some ideas/beliefs due to group think:
https://www.hrw.org/world-report/2020/country-chapters/canada# The government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has made notable efforts to advance human rights in Canada. Despite these efforts, Canada continues to struggle to address longstanding human rights challenges, including wide-ranging abuses against Indigenous peoples, the continued confinement of immigration detainees in jails, and a prison law that does not rule out prolonged solitary confinement. Canada also grapples with serious human rights issues relating to the overseas operations of Canadian extractive companies, and persistent exports of military equipment to countries with a record of human rights violations. There remain considerable challenges to undoing decades of structural and systemic discrimination against Indigenous people in Canada. Inadequate access to clean, safe drinking water continues to pose a major public health concern in many Indigenous communities—and continues to impede efforts to advance Indigenous rights in Canada, one of the world’s most water-rich countries. The government has committed to end all drinking water advisories on First Nations reserves by 2021. As of September, 56 First Nations communities across Canada remained subject to such long-term water advisories, which alert communities when their water is not safe to drink. In September, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal found that the federal government willfully and recklessly discriminated against Indigenous children living on reserves by failing to provide funding for child and family services. The Trudeau government filed an application seeking a judicial review of the ruling in October. In January 2019, the United Nations Human Rights Committee found that Canada, through the long-controversial Indian Act, was still discriminating against First Nations women and their descendants. In August, the Trudeau government announced that First Nations women would be treated equally under the Indian Act, enabling them to retain their Indigenous status if they marry non-Indigenous men. In June, the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls—launched by the government in 2016 to address endemic levels of violence against Indigenous women and girls—released its final report. The inquiry made 231 recommendations and concluded that acts of violence against Indigenous women and girls amount to “genocide.” Prime Minister Trudeau vowed that the government will develop a national action plan to “turn the inquiry’s calls to justice into real, meaningful, Indigenous-led action.” Canada’s federal government and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has shown willingness to reform the immigration detention system. However, despite guidelines requiring that children be held in immigration detention only in “extremely limited circumstances” or as a “last resort” under Canada’s immigration law, children are still detained in immigration detention in Canada. In 2018-19, 118 children were detained or housed in a detention center. While fewer children were held overall compared to 2017-18, the average time they spent in detention facilities rose. Despite the introduction of a National Immigration Detention Framework that aims to reduce the use of jails and improve detention conditions, Canada continues to confine many immigration detainees in jails. According to the CBSA, 7,212 immigration detainees were detained in holding centers in 2018-19, up from 6,609 the previous year. Again, we see only nicely written political program without practical implementation. Source HRW.ORG
@Gilbertsson Eh, I’m voting for the brown NDP dude to solve problems that you highlight, and your slant/misinformation that you posted about Cannabis doesn’t bode well for the rest of your links. I’d appreciate you explaining what the CPC slogan ‘Secure The Future’ means, after considering the O’Toole climate change policy platform is rewarmed Harper policy which does precious little good for future generations.
I discuss about the current Government. The slogan "Secure the Future" is just another slogan. Without practical performance. Trudeau is in power since: November 4, 2015 Relevant period to create certain opinions about him. I understand that it's not pleasant to see human rights issues, discrimination of First Nation residents and growth of poverty and homeless people. But, this is the reality after 6 years of Justin Trudeau. So far, I don't know who will be great. But, Trudeau had his chance. If liberals, social-democrats eliminate poverty forever, this means that they need to remove this chapter from their programs. I try to be objective, what politicians say, their programs and what they fulfil, accomplish. That's why politicians label people with ideological symbolism. I am more mature and critical to think inside of labelled box. I can feel, that you also fall on those labels. I just place the line under each mandate and I want to see what has done. Politicians with better speeches for sure win. Nice suit, good cosmetics, nice teeth. If they use inspiring, emotional sentences, much better. If they handle media directly and without communication pause, extraordinary. So far, we see unknown people who come in power. They and their families end as dynasties. So, we have the Kennedy's, the Bushes, the Clinton's, the Obama's and they get the celebrity statuses. Only this remains: - poverty, homeless people, people in debts, credits, bank loans - racism, religious discrimination, social divisions, new delicate divisions. - people with addictions: tobacco, alcohol, drugs, video games, gadgets, betting, casinos. Children start to drink when they turn 10,12. - people without education, who can't afford universities. Arrow for working class destiny. - production is made in soils of cheap labour force. Companies use peoples need - healthcare and insurance isn't available for most of people. We see how we struggle with Covid 19. I saw elbows, serious battles for package of masks, liquid for hand cleansing, even flour during 2020. Well established and progressive western civilisation, role model to others. Khm. - the protection of forests, nature, animals, organic food isn't good. Animal species extinct. Human beings are invading in their habitats through deforestation, palm oil and soya fields. - we see industrial, generic production, with additives, aromas. Just observe, how they make instant coffee. Some phases are top secret. Nothing natural. Fast food industry is attached with obesity, overweight appearance. - massive tourism, bad drinking water, air pollution, pollution of creeks, rivers, lakes, oceans, usage of diesel engines is high. But we don't see cheaper hybrid, electric vehicles. If you are lucky, in EU you can get subventions. Most people overpay small city, hatchback cars. This will always exist, no matter who is the next Prime Minister? Trudeau, O'Toole, Singh...I rather support the switch, replacement and not eternal leaders that we see often around world. At the moment, Liberal Party of Canada hasn't done much.

So at the moment Canada has no functioning federal government with all the main actors out campaigning across the country, spending more tax dollars while earning none of it? Fascinating.
Government does not shut down just because lawmakers aren’t in Ottawa.. The civil servants are still there working.. Not only that, but US federal politicians take a 2 month recess so they can do their campaigning and they spend significantly more time out campaigning and fundraising than their Canadian counterparts throughout the year..
Yeah but can you text them at any hour of the day? Text me: (613) 777-2039It’s always busy on the campaign trail, but I'll be responding to texts from the road whenever there’s a moment.
