The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports World Canada on Jan. 18 at 7:30pm EST.

FSWC will presumably pick up the US-based PPV feed for the match.

But most sports bars in Canada do......is that not an option for you?

I'm kinda confuse, to go to Canada for free viewing on canadian TV, go to stadium for live game or just buy PPV ? or non of the above, probably just log on to the internet.

I live in a town of 5,000 people and about one hour from Ottawa and it is not possible for me to go to Ottawa on Saturday. There is one bar in my town that gets ESPN and other such stations, but it is not a very nice place to go too (ie fights etc...)

Jan 18th is a Saturday. Kickoff Vancouver time is 4.30 pm. There is no bar that I can think of that will not be showing hockey at that time.

You guys in Toronto are lucky. You seem to have a diverse section of sports bars and one always seems to be willing to show soccer.

That's a shame for both of you. Really, Fox Sports World Canada has proven that there's no reason why Sportsnet (who will be showing, of all things, an NBA game between New York & Atlanta instead of the Canada game) couldn't have shown this match. So many more people would have been able to see it, & in their own homes too rather than having to trudge out to some sports bar.

Krammerhead, you might interested that Ian Kennett on the V-board is trying to gather people in the Vancouver-area to watch the game on tv, so I'm assuming he has found a place, which you might want to check out (of course for all I know it could be on the other end of town for you, but I thought I might as well pass on the info).

Thanks for the info. I live in North Vancouver, so everything in Vancouver is on the other side of town for me.

I may try to find a pub close by that may have the game on.
