Can you buy the SAME jersey that the players wear?

Not the one that they actually wore at a game, but teh exact same style and fit?

Usually the players jersey look way better than the ones I see in stores, being worn by fans, or from pictures online.

The players jersey looks liek it fits very well, snug, good looking fit. Whereas the store bought looks baggy, loose, flat, almost like a cheap T-shirt

    what i want:

That's the TechFit jersey. You can find them for $180 from certain places but it's a tighter fit throughout the arm and shoulder. This is a Germany jersey, but you get the idea:

Is the TechFit the really tight fitting one with the plastic looking lines on them? Like a lot of French players had? (I dont want that style, it's too tight)

I like the fit of this one:

If you don't want the TechFit jersey....buy a smaller size? The TechFit jersey is pretty much what they play with on the field, and it's not the baggy replica version. If you post a picture of an Adidas jersey on the field of play, it's most likely a TechFit jersey because that's what they use.

That is a TechFit jersey actually. Just a tiny bit looser than the super tight ones that some of the French players wear. Just go to www.gettyimages.com and search for Heinze and you'll see the TechFit bands on his jersey.

lol, love your choice of photo/gif to illustrate your question :D good ol' heinze!

would you all say the techFit and player issue jerseys have a shorter lifespan usage wise? if so, i say you just get the replica just a size smaller like someone else suggested.

I actually got them from www.customfootballshirt.com. pretty good quality i would say, plus it's from Thailand, so it's pretty sweet for that price...

I hate when I go into a nike store and all the jerseys are fake and don't look even close to what the players where

That would be incorrect. Actually the majority of players from teams sponsored by Adidas wear Formotion jerseys, not Techfit. Formotion jersey is the loose-fitting player-issue jersey that is favored by most players, Techfit jersey is the tight-fitting player-issue jersey favored by players such as Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Heinze, Higuain etc. Techfit jerseys are available for sale while Formotion jerseys are not (for the national teams).

Nike player-issue jerseys are available, but not as widely-available as some of the Adidas Techfit player issue jerseys. This vendor for example, actually carries the Dutch, Brazilian and Portuguese 2010 WC player issue jerseys but they are so outrageously overpriced ($239) that I don't think people are going to bother:

That's what I hate about Nike jerseys, their material is kinda uncomfortable and heavy (compared to Adidas jerseys) with minimal technological innovations and bad design yet so expensive.

He was mainly looking for the tighter fitting jersey, which is the Techfit like i mentioned. I could have mentioned the Formotion jersey, but it seemed to be irrelevant to his interests and there was no reason to confuse him.

Why is it that the Red Bull "authentic" shirts are labeled as climacool and not formotion?

And I don't think anyone really answered this, but is there no way to get player issue shirts for clubs such as Chelsea other than maybe finding one on eBay? (and at such ridiculous prices)

It's weird that you only have to spend $125-$145 for an authentic MLS jersey, but other shirts are far more expensive and rare.

I think you can, but usually they are way more expensive than replicas, and are more hard to buy..... isnt player issued jersey code 7 ? or something?
