A little interesting that Tuchel has chosen Declan over Noni to take corners from the right side, even though they have to be outswingers.

Wenger has to sit next to the slime John Terry in the VIP box. Or maybe Wenger is fine doing that. He is working for Infantino after all.

This match's graphic clearly says "Hydration Break" not "Match break". So no consistency from FOX. Are we surprised?

Nice cross by Noni there. He's having a decent game, causing their LB problems.

Bold move to leave Kane completely free on a corner.

Well, that Rice delivery to a Kane bullet-header just confirms Tuchel knows? ;)

2-2 just before HT. This is quite a game. But was he onside? Yes. Croatia's goals have been excellent.

I post this because: (a) I had the same thought about Noni's run, (b) look how fat Rooney is in his profile photo!

Meanwhile, this game has become a little nuts. ENG should be up 5-2 right now, for sure. They're praying they won't regret their misses.

And for the interest of Arsenal fans...

72' Rogers for Rice, Saka for Madueke, (Rashford for Gordon)

    Oreilly has been so poor

pretty entertaining game, we look poor at the back but some great passages of play and counters

Saka with a BIG part of England's 4th goal, the one that puts Croatia away. :D Sweet, composed finish by Rashford TBF.

Agreed. Stones starting always gives me concern. Maybe it's a bit harsh but I've never really rated him in general terms. Plus he's been injury prone. But Tuchel knows??

I think we were all thinking the same, including the Telemundo commentator. Such a smart run by Noni.

Oreilly owes Deccy a beer for whiffing that open header and costing him an assist.

Pretty good morning for the Arsenal lads in the England shirt.

If Rashford was younger would seriously look at him on the left, always seems to link up well for England with other Arsenal players.

Both Kane and Rice sing Tuchel's praises for his inspiring halftime speech.

I only hope he's got 7 more of 'em tucked away.

I’m 45. When I was a kid playing soccer everyone had black boots. White boots just became a thing, and everyone thought you had to be good to wear them. Obviously, a prick like me kicked everyone I played against with them on because f*** them and their new shoes.

I don’t know why it took so long for colored boots to be a thing.

David Ospina sighting in Mexico City v. Uzbekistan.

At 37 years old, he's no longer Colombia's number 1, but I honestly thought he was a lot older.

Colombia is just about to open up at Azteca. Listening to the anthem and seeing the sea of yellow in the stands, it might as well be Bogota or Barranquilla. Hard to imaging the Uzbeks have much of a chance!

Edit: Well, well, well... UZB equalizes at 60' so maybe this will just be one of the many surprise results of this tournament so far? Nope, COL ended up killing the game, but it was nip and tuck for a while.

Khusanov just went in with a pretty wild tackle on DIaz, which earned him a yellow. But after that foul, the Uzbek slammed into a sideline cameraman, who seemed fairly injured or at least very shaken up. Diaz immediately showed concern for the guy, but Khusanov who did the damage, showed no interest, got up and walked away. SMH.
