Sorry if this has been posted on another board, but I don't see it here. Canadian broadcast rights were announced today. Fox Sports World Canada will be showing the game. FSWC is a digital/satellite provider only, but most pubs/bars in Canada have access to it. so....those of you in the North can take a little drive -- 60 cents on the dollar and the beer is better.... I'd call ahead to find a bar that will show though...Saturday is hockey night...
my gf and i should be in montreal that weekend. so where is a good pub to get a chance to watch the game???? and to watch the leafs cream the habs
US rights and Canadian rights are sold to different people. There is no way to get it PPV in Canada (and no money to be made), so they sold it to FSWC). Well the only publicised viewing party I can think of is our own, the Ultras Montréal will be (in part) at one of the members house. If you're interested, go to www.ultrasmontreal.com, go into the forum, Ultras Montréal and click on the announcement dated 1/18... You can post in English. It's up to the guy though.
