Iraqi official: U.S. lying about progress

Am I the only one who finds Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf funny? Every day I am laughing at his comments. Someone should sign him up.

Well of course Peter Arnett thought this guy was so credible that he granted him an interview as a "professional courtesy"

Now somebody correct me, but I was under the impression that a "professional courtesy" was something you granted to someone who shares your profession.

So Peter Arnett evidently feels he and this steaming pile of turds are in the SAME BUSINESS??

My favorite Iraqi comedian is at it again:

Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, however, called coalition reports that their forces were on the outskirts of Baghdad "an illusion."

They're not even [within] 100 miles," he said. "They are not in any place. They hold no place in Iraq. This is an illusion ... they are trying to sell to the others an illusion."
