We are trying to raise money for my son's club. One of the parents works for US soccer and when Brazil played USA this past fall in Chicago, they were able to aquire a signed Brazil team jersey ( everyone signed except ronaldino:mad:, even the coach signed it:)) We are trying to decide if we should raffle it off at a soccer tournament or just be done with it an auction it on ebay. With the raffle I think we could raise 800.00 Which would you recommend ?

It has the following signatures on an authentic xl jersey (less ronaldinho)

Goalkeepers (2): Doni (AS Roma), Julio Cesar (Inter Milan)
Defenders (8): Maicon (Inter Milan), Daniel Alves (Sevilla), Alex Silva (São Paulo), Lúcio (Bayern Munich), Juan (AS Roma), Alex (Chelsea), Kleber (Santos), Gilberto (Hertha Berlin)
Midfielders (8): Gilberto Silva (Arsenal), Mineiro (Hertha Berlin), Josué (VfL Wolfsburg), Fernando (Bordeaux), Elano (Manchester City), Kaká (AC Milan), Julio Baptista (Real Madrid), Diego (Werder Bremen)
Forwards (4): Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Robinho (Real Madrid), Vagner Love (CSKA Moscow), Afonso (SC Heerenveen) , Robinho (Real Madrid), Vagner Love (CSKA Moscow), Afonso (SC Heerenveen)

I would go for the raffle, and let me know when you have it i'll send you some $$$ for a few tickets!

Without a COA(certificate of authenticity) ebay would probably sell for....$200 to $300..so i would go for the raffle, 800 $1 tickets will be easy, seeing that i'll buy $10, Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the response, I am a little leary of ebay ( I sell personally all the time) but collectors items seem to be full of fraudulent or should I say questionable items. I don't know exactly what a COA is but US Soccer has offered a letter stating it is authentic. I am hoping people will easily part with a $1 for the raffle. Thanks for the input. BTW Ronaldhino lost a group of hard core 10 year olds soccer rats that day when he would not sign :( Thanks for offering to buy some tickets, I will keep you posted.:)

It probably wasn't Ronaldinho's choice, alot of the time the players are under "no autograph" clauses, happens all the time...email me though, bradyport@gmail.com i'll gladly buy $10 worth of tickets.

If you have a letter from USSF saying that the letter is authentic, that would be good. Also, if you have pictures of players actually signing the jersey, that always helps. Anything you have to show that you actually got the real jersey and players actually signed it goes a long way towards easier online shoppers' fears that it's a fake.
