Very wasteful with the chances... they cannot play like that vs Ze Zjermans. That's lethal against such opponent.

After one hour it is like Dutchbat in '95 so far, minus the cowardice. The white muslims of Europe (Bosnia) stand no chance.

Thoughts on Gravenberch match? I’m loving it so far on this role.

De Ligt again looks poor here. The 2nd goal.

So I'm pretty drunk right now, but these are my game ratings:

    Starters:
    • Anyone who still thinks vDijk isnt our captain and doesnt belong at CB is a moron.
    • Dumfries and Aké were average today. I prefer Micky at LB.
    • De Ligt for the time being has no business being anywhere near Oranje. I hope he improves though. His defending was SHOCKING!!
    • Schouten/Reijnders/Gravenberch midfield was amazing!!
    • Simons/Gakpo/Zirkzee forwards was also good. No complaints there.

    Subs:
    • Geertruida was ok.
    • Both Timber brothers are very good players.
    • Malen also very good, he made a beautiful pass for the goal.
    • Weghorst, what more needs to be said. Super pinch-hitter extraordinaire

Keep in mind people, this is Bosnia, they are ranked #75 on FIFA.
And ranked # 88 on ELO

The de Ligt gets all the blame, but in fact it was Jurrien Timber being awol, making Zirkzee trying to prevent the assist for the goal.
It's going to be fun with Arsenal putting Timber leftback, while he here gets exposed by if I heared it correctly an mls-player.

  7. Well, one thing is clear. The Reijnders-Zirkzee-Gakpo combo works well. Far better than with Memphis, who the last 5 matches has been displaying to play for taking Robin van Persie's topscorer title.
No need to call up the selfish one.
Gravenberch played well, untill Bosnia started to press the midfield.

  8. Virgil van Dijk was very slow to react in around the 15th, 20ieth and 27th minute when the goal was conceded.
His longrange passing was shit too.

  9. Koeman already before the match told that Brobbey plays against Germany.
I find that stupid to the hilt.
This Bosnia match was the excellent opportunity to test each for a half match to decide who starts against Germany.
What does our cowhead, he subs in Weghorst:rolleyes::mad:

It was the most fluid Dutch game I have watched for years. Gravenberch and Zirksee added much needed chemistry.

There are still Timber brothers, Koopmeiners, Wieffer and of course Frenkie. We haven't had such a luxurious midfield outfit to look forward to in recent years. The only man below par is Geertruida.

DE Roon, Widjnadum and Depay can be remembered from now.

  16. The positive vibe about Gravenberch's contribution is based on his performance in the pressure forwards.
However, and it got ignored in all comments in the press, he was lost in the 10 minutes press by Bosnia.
Jurrien Timber got exposed and was awol, making Zirkzee had to act as leftback running to try to close down the Bosnian, but Gravenberch was awol too, which created a large gap with only van Dijk and de Ligt ...and who gets the blame for the Timber/Gravenberch failure...deLigt and van Dijk.

Yes, I noticed that Gravenberch's performance dropped especially in 2nd half but it was his 1st start and also there were changes in the midfield in the 2nd half but overall his performance was impressive

  18. Well, that's the problem at Liverpool too. He excells in his role now, because Liverpool hadnot been confronted with a midfield capable of putting on the pressure yet, which then requires Gravenberch to show the defensive part of his position. When that situation occurs I think Slot quickly swaps him for that Korean guy.
