is he allowed to for example say call in jaqua as a target forward? he's not proven, but we have no one else.

Don't think so. Jaqua is injured right now anyway.

Twellman or Cunningham would be nice as well...but I don't think he can replace him.

It's time for Stokes. I want to see him at target forward.

Yeah, having Armas and Sanneh called up away from the Fire is a Mike Segroves' wet dream.

Clint Mathis is scoring again from midfield. Okay, one goal, but that is more than Casey has done recently. I don't get Bruce's fascination with this guy. He may be a quality club player, but he just lacks fire, urgency, pace, you name it at the national team level.

    And he can't score.

Matt Taylor plays at Chivas USA...which we all know is (just like Reading, or the Crew) better than ManU...

This is really a moot debate now that Casey's hurt, but I remember a lot of people complaining about McBride's lack of goal scoring prior to the 2002 world cup, and we all know how that turned out. It's not meant to be a perfect analogy...but the point is, I give Bruce the benefit of the doubt when it comes to target forwards.
