I'll be there on April 1st until April 8th with my class mates.
Are there some things to see? How far is it away from Dublin? Interesting pubs for a 17 year old boy?
    Thanks in advance.

Dun Laoghaire is pretty small and not a huge amount of things to see. It depends on what you are looking for.
It is well served by the DART, the local train system in Dublin and will take you about 30 minutes to get into Dublin City Centre.
You have small villages such as Galsthule, Sandycove, Dalkey and Killiney which are all close by and are quite picturesque.
Dun Laoghaire and all the villages mentioned above are all on the sea so there are lots of things to do like sailing, swimming, fishing etc.
There are loads of different pubs in the area so you shouldnt have a problem with that but for a little bit more lively nightlife I would recommend going into the City Centre or maybe trying Blackrock which is between Dun Laoghaire and the City Centre.

I used to live in Dun Laoghaire. I recommend going to the Miami Cafe. It's a Chippy run by Italians.

Thing to see in Dun Laoghaire? How about the sign that says "Come Back Soon"?

The best thing to see is how easy it is to get to Dublin.
