Does anyone know if Campton United is having their Memorial Day tournament. Their web site shows the 2024 tournament and schedule. I believe this would have been the 22nd consecutive year.

Clicking on accepted teams... shows the 2023 teams accepted.

    At best, this seems sloppy!

If it was canceled, does anyone know why. If yes... i'm sad, 21 years in a row and gone... sad:(

If it is on, where is the schedule?

How is Campton United doing overall? Canceling a tournament that has been around for 21 years without some type of explanation and not even updating the web site... not a good look...

Check out their official facebook site - it's been this way for over a year now!

CSA, Campton are no where near what they used to be. Strikers have always been a club that is on the lower end of travel - despite have a great facility. There was a time when Campton and Strikers planned on merging - 2017 maybe... That probably would have been better for both clubs as it was at a time when CSA was absorbing all the great talent in the area.

On the girls side, you won't find anyone who would argue that the club started to decline after the loss of Scotty Keena. The guy just made players that wanted to perform and there are few coaches who have that ability.

I know that CSA just got boys ECNL but a lot of clubs get that these days. Management is Meh but I don't want another cease & desist from a lawyer who has trouble spelling :ROFLMAO:

It's a shame because that area was a hot spot of talent for years. My guess is that many of these players are at Inter/Galaxy and other clubs that are a bit of a further drive.
