I would love it if it was real though then we could see a transcript at the unveiling like this: An Adidas spokesperson was cited as saying "Adidas and Benfica in cooperation of Liga officials decided Benfica will be the Champion of the 08/09 season. We are extremely proud to represent the team and it's accomplishment"
That might be exactly what happens! Actually, he just added the Escudo after requests from fans. I believe if Benfica does win the league, then the Escudo would actually be worn on the left sleeve instead, if not on the front. He put these together after someone he knows that works for Adidas claims to have seen them and gave this description. Overall, I really like the red jersey and its template. I'm in favor of a black jersey (preferably third), but I'm not a fan of that template.
In all honesty that black template that Houston Dynamo and some Japanese team has is the first time I ever seen it look good. I thought that template wouldn't ever look good but the red on black is very striking and still conservative enough to be classy IMHO.

anybody know where i can find a 2001/2002 Porto Home jersey? It was the half white half blue jersey when they still had revigres on the front (last year for the league i think after 2001 they used them for CL only) looked kind of like this years Barca shirt...

It was back in 2002 so I guess he has a Small or Medium in his closet. Last I saw it was mint condition but again I doubt he would sell. I'll ask him though.
