I get that but often as players get older they start having wives and families and they start wanting to be in one place. It's usually when young and trying to establish yourself that you want to see the world. I've never seen an interview with and don't know his personal story so I could be completely wrong.

If it's Ipswich, go for it!

McKenna is one of the most exciting young coaches the English game has seen in the last 20 years - back-to-back- promotions on a net transfer spend of 7.5 million is a remarkable achievement, never mind in your first head coaching job.

It's hard to imagine a better place to develop.

    I don't think he's top league material.

Defending for Celtic is a great spot for him. He looks very good because the team is so far above their rivals.

I think Cam is what he is at this point. After a nomadic series of loans, I wouldn't blame him for staying in Glasgow, where he is an appreciated and known quantity. If he were to leave I'd imagine it would be for a situation where he feels good about the new club's odds at surviving relegation.

CCV played 56 minutes, shutting out Chelsea during his minutes on the way to a 4-1 win over the London minnows.

CCV started again today, and Celtic continue their dominating start to the season, leading Hibs 2-0 late.

Celtic play Hibs for a second straight Sunday, this time in the League Cup. CCV starts in his usual spot. Unfortunately, this time they concede on a header, and CCV picks up a yellow, but a Maeda brace has led to a 3-1 late lead.

It'd be good for him, MLS > SPL.

Put your computer glasses on Atalanta not Atlanta. MLS transfer window has closed. I believe top of the 1/4 of the table in Seri A is a bridge to far for him.

According to this, CCV is on the list for Beşiktaş but no offer made yet.

Bet he retires in Celtic. Guy seems happy there, in the heart of Catholic Glasgow.

Well, the man did start his career at Southend-on-Sea’s mighty Catholic United FC.

My heart momentarily skipped a beat when I saw this report a few days ago (a USMNTer at Atalanta would make my domestic life much more volatile, for better or worse), but honestly, this would have been a bad move for CCV. Outwardly, it might look like Atalanta is down a CB with Giorgio Scalvini out until 2025, but the ownership was already long planning for his eventual sale, so the team is decently stacked at the position, and only needing depth at this point. Gasperini is going to be running 3 in the back as his standard, and Djimsiti, Hien and Kolasinac are solid as hell when all are healthy. Then there is Godfrey eventually pushing for a startring role, and Toloi (even De Roon if necessary) who can cover when the schedule is heavy or injuries happen.

Had this transfer gone thorugh (the report says it's dead in the water), CCV would have been #4 choice at best, probably #5. Better he stays the king of Glasgow. He looks good in green.
