I thought Forrest had money problems. Wouldn't this keep them out of the market?

12 teams in the league but they play 38 league games a year.

Stay where you're appreciated. Would be cool to spend a good long while at the top Scottish club after bouncing around England for years.

Pretty similar to Miles. Neither is moving up but also neither is better or worse than they were a few weeks ago.

Celtic going 1-2-0 in the past 3 league games - all without CCV, I believe. Their little stumble has opened the door for Gers to go top of table if they can get all 3 tomorrow. A tie puts them tied on points and GD, but I think Celtic stay #1 due to head to head. I'd imagine they would really like CCV back. Saw a report he returns to training next week.

Would be Celtic on top on goals scored for a 4-4 draw or less, Celtic on top on head-to-head for a 5-5 draw or more.

CCV making his return from injury. Subbed on in the 61st minute, 1-1 vs Motherwell as they try not to fall farther behind Rangers.

Two stoppage time goals for Celtic bail them out today for a 3-1 win. 93% passing and 4/5 duels for CCV. Welcome back.

His injury likely cost Celtic top stop for the moment... whether it will cost them long-term likely comes down to April 7th.

CCV starts and goes 90 in a rare Celtic loss to Hearts (2-0). Hoops had a chance to regain top of table after Gers losing yesterday but in an even more rare event, both Glasgow clubs lose the same weekend. Didn't see game, so no idea how CCV fared.

Watched some of it - Celtic had a 16th minute red card, so CCV was very busy as they were trying to dominate possession down a man. He hadd a good chance with a header off a corner, but put it over the top. Asserted himself physically and looked close to back to 100%.

CCV returns to the starting lineup against St Johnstone, and they'd take back first with a win (at least until Rangers play their match in hand). 1-0 lead at the have, no SOG allowed.

CCV came off at 75 with it 3-0. St.J scored at 86 (which, weirdly) could be an important goal in that Gers and Celtic are now tied on GD. Gers have yet to play this weekend's game (They have a perfectly middling Dundee tomorrow.) A tie leaves the 2 teams tied on points.

Glad his hammy didn't keep him out long. Hope they've let him fully heal.

The SPL Title race is fun at the moment. Celtic ahead of Gers by 1 pt. and 1 goal in the GD. But Gers have an extra game to play. Celtic v Gers at Ibrox next week. If Celtic win they likely win the title - just have to also beat St Mirren on the last day. If they tie or lose to Gers, they have to count on their rivals stumbling to at least a tie in one of their final 2 games. (Dundee and Ross). And if Gers/Celtic is a tie - then Celtic still needs Gers to at least tie one of those games - and Celtic need to win the GD.

Will be a stressy last 2 games for CCV and Celtic.

CCV went 90 in a 3-3 tie at Ibrox in a game that could have decided the SPL title. If either team had won, they would have been heavy faves to hoist the haggis. But a tie just leaves the decision in Gers feet. Celtic leads the league with 75 pts. and a 51 G GD, Gers are in second with 74/50. Gers have a make-up v Dundee midweek. Then both have their final game on the weekend. Celtic host St. Mirren, Gers away to Ross.

Gers win both, CCV ends the season in 2nd. Assuming Celtic win, if Gers tie one and win the other by 2 more than Celtic win, CCV end the season 2nd. Celtic win and Gers lose either, it's Celtic's season.... lot of fun to be had.
