CCV starts against Griezmann, Morata, and the rest of Atletico Madrid today at home. Last place in the group so far, surprising no one.
An alum of Real Monarchs, the reserve team/affiliate of Real Salt Lake, which was a USL side when he was there. He was probably there so RSL could assess him for purchase. That's not quite the same as being an alum of, say Indy 11 or the Charleston Battery. Which would be wild. BTW: He scored last night. It was a belter too. 1717265522293657977 is not a valid tweet id
Worth noting he had a tough outing in this one. Nobody covered themselves in glory on Celtic’s defense, but CCV in particular seemed like he was trying to do too much. A narrow VAR decision saved him from an own goal while failing to mark Witsel, he then picked up a yellow for a terrible challenge on Morata, and then his man scored (Morata) the 2-2 equalizer following a deep cross. It was an entertaining game though.

The Quizzes is the only way the SPL can keep fans from falling asleep. BTW they just did to Aberdeen what Atletico did to them: 6-0. Pure bullying.
From the Daily Record: Joe Hart bizarrely went on his holidays inside the box but Cameron Carter-Vickers was there to sweep up as Celtic couldn't break the deadblock before the break before the game came alive in the second period. They let up a 90th minute equalizer and the defense was blamed, but I didn't see CCV blamed specifically. Dropping points, but they still have a huge cushion.
98% of Celtic supporters want to see Hart to go on a permanent holiday. He’s dreadful. We need a new GK. It’s been trending that was for a year now. Sadly, the backups - Bain and Seigrist - are shit, too.
CCV started against Hibs, credited with an assist on the opening goal and reportedly a strong opening half, and was subbed off at half. Seeing grumblings of an injury but no specifics online.
Injury update: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sp...meron-carter-vickers-injury-update-hamstring/ Speaking to BBC Scotland, the Northern Irishman said: "Just a precaution. He felt his hamstring a little tight. He wanted to continue but there's no point in risking him when we've got a centre-half on the bench.
CCV starts against Livingston, needing to reassert themselves in first place after a pair of losses. Working so far, dominating up 2-0 without allowing a shot - that's shot, not SOG.

CCV subbed off injured in the 55th minute, shortly after Celtic took the lead. Don't know anything more yet.
He walked off the pitch on his own with the trainer behind him. I suspect it’s muscle injury. He was not wincing in pain, clutching a hammy, thigh, of calf. He looked rather annoyed more than anything. Hopefully it’s precautionary with the Old Firm Derby coming up this weekend .
Looks like there may be some PL interest in Carter-Vickers. Larry Henry Jr on X: "West Ham, Brentford, and Nottingham Forest are all targeting Celtic and #USMNT defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, a source close to the player confirmed to me today. CCV has made 110 combined apps for Celtic, lifting five trophies including domestic treble last season. https://t.co/wC8PdHooEl" / X (twitter.com)
