From the Glasgow Herald Cameron Carter-Vickers 5 Was steady enough at times, but then looked nervous in other sections of the game. Was penalised for handling the ball in the box. Initially seemed a harsh decision by the referee, but on reflection, the American did have his arm up to enlarge his body position. From the Daily Record Cameron Carter-Vickers 5 . Left exposed in the right channel for the second goal and punished at a block for handball and booked for penalty third. The Daily Record's minute-by-minute was more positive about CCV. On the penalty, their verdict was Penalty Leverkusen No chance on that one! Vickers' arm was out but that is a cruel decision. Late on, just before the last goal, CCV made a defensive intervention which prompted the following comment Carter Vickers does well And he has overall since he arrived! The defender [sic] are exposed in this system and it is hard to look good at times.
Always hated this move. I'd consider it a major win if he could get back to the Championship at the end of the year- and try to work his way back to the Prem from there.
CCV started and went 90 for Celtic against Aberdeen and Cristian Ramirez. 2-1 victory that included good reviews for the Celtic defense, apparently. First road win since FEBRUARY. So at least that has to feel good.

CCV and Celtic got a bit of help from Hearts who tied Gers with a 90 minute goal. Things are still pretty tight at the top.
Solid performance from CCV yesterday. I’d rate him at 6.5. Nothing spectacular but he didn’t need to be. CCV put himself in good positions to cut out crosses, won just about every duel he was involved in and looked to play forward and connect with his midfield when in possession. CCV is starting to settle in nicely with Celtic who are now 4 points back from Rangers.

Got a yellow and played 90 in a 2-0 win. Celtic could have easily scored two more but the forwards left their shooting boots at home. The level in Scotland is still terrible. That they're ranked as the #9 league in Europe above the Jupiler, the Russian Premier or the Greek league is incomprehensible. I'd say the Championship has about as much individual technique and team tactics (very low in both), but is considerably faster.
Meanwhile, the team he last played for in the Championship, Bournemouth....who wanted him back- is 10 points clear at the top of the Championship. If they make the Prem this season, this will wind up as a bad career move for the young man.
I would say SPL is like lower-level championship outwith Celtic and Rangers, although Hearts look good this year and Dundee United, if they keep up this form, are also competitive. Celtic were atrocious last year. Rangers were atrocious for about a decade before that. Having both of them at full strength pushes each other, but what is typically not discussed is how having them both full strength improves the other sides as well. Aberdeen and Hearts were both able to advance in Europe when Celtic and Rangers were last both strong at the same time. The split also ensures that Celtic players will play more matches against the top half of the league than the bottom. Europa League and what looks like a likely foray into the Conference League will bring that level up for the year. That the SPL is ranked #9 is only incomprehensible if you actively ignore the evidence that Celtic/Rangers and even the rest of the SPL are not as comically terrible as BigSoccer for some reason needs to believe. And I really don't know what else needs to be said about Celtic's ability to groom players for higher levels. A Celtic-produced back line of Tierney-Ajer-van Dijk-Frimpong would be one of the best in the Premier League. If he plays well, he will be able to parlay that into a very good move.

CCV scores a striker’s goal off of s corner. Low hard hit ball and CCV neatly volleys/flicks with side foot across his body from about 8 yds out to far post. 2-0 Celtic over Hibs in 17’
CCV loses his man on a corner who scores for Hibs. Looked like a handball could have been called but goal stands.
