HT it’s 0-0. It’s been all Celtic but they can’t seem to breakthrough Ross County defense. 81% possession to Celtic. 11 shots and 6 on target. An astonishing 406 passes that half from Celtic. It’s coming and the flood gates will probably open. I haven’t even noticed CCV about that’s a good thing. All the play has been in their attacking half.

Awesone! CCV is pretty underrated IMO. Nice to see him get off to a quick start w/ his new club.

Wouldn’t you know it…… CCV scored! I had to jet to coach one of my teams (like Celtic, 3-0 win) and couldn’t watch the 2nd half. I’ll have to find and watch the 2nd half and look at all the write ups. MOTM tells me all I need to know though! :)

I think I'd enjoy PBP by a random Scottish guy more than I would most/all professional commentators

I had to replay it a few times to understand everything. Wasn’t too bad.

Can't imagine CCV can do anything at this point to get involved with the NT again, at least until after the WC, right?

Seems the only Euros Egg cares about are top 5 starters and or guys who were in MLS at one point, so CCV is likely out of luck for the time being.

Still, as we've seen with other positions like wing, a couple injuries can change the depth equation real quick. Glad to see him carrying over his strong season with Bournemouth for his new club.

Nah, injury crisis/card accumulation could change things up. And we'll have some WCQ games during the MLS offseason, so logic would dictate an even heavier reliance on European guys. Gregg doesn't always do things logically but I think he'll learn for October that he needs to call in 28-30 guys and integrate guys that had injuries and August transfer window issues.

Starting this week, he's got EL games until Xmas, and against good sides too (Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen). Good performances there should change Berhalter's mind in the manner that you suggest.

    If they don't . . .

Even Messi probably can't hack it during those cold, rainy nights in Stoke

Match just started. It’s on Paramount+ for those interested. I have the match on in the background as I’m working. I’ll try to provide some updated here and there.

He's a bit slow to react and already has a yellow. Second half, he ought to be very careful.
