I got up to the Vietnam bit where you need to arm the 3 things to fend off the attack. Impossible, the grenade spam was just insane,

I beat the game on Veteran and yeah it was pretty cheap.

Storyline was better structured compared to MW2 but the level design was not as good.

    Multiplayer is awesome though.

i think the story is ok, i just find it more 'glitchy' and random enemies firing instant headshots from areas u already cleared

am i the only one who enjoyed mw2's solo campaign?

I enjoyed it too, thought it was better than MW and Blops...and BC2 and MoH

i loved battlefield 2, but the solo player was awful

mw1 was my favorite single player story, followed by mw2 and then black ops (never got the ww2 cod)

can't wait for battlefield 3, i prefer the team based stuff rather than cod team mates who would watch u die so they can knife the enemy rather than shoot him

Yeah neither Bad Company campaigns has been all that great, I didn't even finish the first one. Hands down I would put MW1 as the best COD campaign out of the lot, actually went back and played through it not too long ago in the arcade mode.

If I was to rate the COD campaigns I'd go: MW1, COD2, MW2, Blops, and then World at War. I have to finally get around to play the first COD and I wouldn't even rate COD3.

CoD2 is still my favourite CoD.

I miss World War II games. :(

anybody else try the new maps? typical Treyarch fair in my opinion .... poorly thoughtout, seemingly random maps. they fit in well with their other maps.

new mappack yesterday ... anybody get it? I think the maps, generally speaking, were better than the last go-around. so that's good.

Hazard is a golf-course map that is basically the same layout as Cliffside from World at War.

I just wish in their new maps only playlists they offered Hardcore as an option. Oh well.

I don't want to support this profiteering by Activision so I'm not buying any of these map packs.

Just give me noobtown 24/7 and I'm happy. :D

I will be grabbing the new pack tomorrow night for some weekend fun. The thing I really liked about the last map pack was the size of them, I finally was able to get the hang of the sniper rifle.

Speaking of nuketown (best small map since Shipment!:)) how is Drive-In, Ringo? The preview videos for the new pack said those two maps were similar.

    Nuketown and Drive-in?
not similar at all ... Drive in is a bigger map, and there are safe ways to move about the map. It's not a huge map, but not as small as Nuketown.

hazard is a hardcore sniper map .... lots of long sightlines. I hate it for that. ;)

Being a fan of CoD:World at War, I really like Hazard... Cliffside reincarnated... double xp is the only time i am playing this... and i have a feeling that this might be the last go round of that...

so i just need one more prestige, if for no other reason than to just do it...

i think i will give the new map pack a miss

£40 game, spent £12 on the last map pack and this new ones about that

crazy amount of cash for a game that frustrates more than rewards

I still play a bit on the weekends but don't dive in deep unless there is double xp. As for the new maps Hazard is definitely the best out of the group. I just love the size of that map and the long sight lines and also think its probably the prettiest one a Treyarch COD game has had.

Maybe its that I am playing this game too much but Silo and Hanger18 reminded me of previous maps too; Silo reminded me of Quarry (MW2) and Hangar18 of Revolution (W@W).
