    Two suggestions/requests, oh Front Office:

    1. Allow fans to submit questions in advance via email. Very helpful for those who can't tune in during the broadcast and/or are driving while listening (and prefer to not chat on the phone while driving).

    2. Obtain a source recording of the show and make it available for listening via coloradorapids.com. Aside from allowing those who were unavailable during the broadcast time slot, it provides a means to listen to those who live outside of the KNRC broadcast range (which isn't very large).

Both of these are great suggestions. I would love to get some questions in to the boys, and living in New Hampshire, I'm a little outside of KNRC's broadcasting range. Don't know how possible it is for you guys to make this happen, but anything would be appreciated.

In the event anyone at the FO is keeping track... seconded. Great ideas.

As for how long it will take for the Grimandi question to come up -- if the hosts don't address it during an intro/news portion, I predict it'll be the first caller.

Guess I put the cart before the horse and simply assumed that the Rapids didn't partner with someone with an Internet feed. :)

NOTE TO RAPIDS: MENTION THE INTERNET BROADCAST IN YOUR NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT

    KICK ASS.

What a great show. As expected there was some straight-up shilling, but a great listen with great questions from the callers.

Of course, I only got to listen to about 20 minutes of the show. Reception was warbly at best for me as I drove from Boulder to Thornton, the longest stretch of uninterfered content I heard was when I was on hold in the queue to ask Hankinson a question (the full broadcast is played through the phone while you're on hold).

Anyway, would like to append my requests above to say...

PLEASE MAKE THIS AT LEAST BI-WEEKLY!

(and I still wish you could listen to archives and email questions in advance... and yes, KNRC does make some of it's shows available in the archives)

I just want to say, I now agree completely with Dan Counce and his decision to change the team colors to reflect the Black and Blue attitude of this team. It’s a new Black and Blue world and the radio show was a Black and Blue effort. I feel that the hard tackling, hard working Black and Blue Rapids will be completely won over and transformed by this Black and Blue marketing effort. I just feel Black and Blue all over. ;)

Besides for the coach’s constant reference to the Black and Blue issue (it sounded like Counce was behind him in the studio kicking him to remind him to drop those Black and Blue lines) I loved the show. The questions were answered in a strait forward fashion and the fans were treated with respect. Rock on Coach Hankinson! Lets get this thing on the air more often. You just know once the season starts, there will be even more and pointed questions. I also loved hearing that the Coach is reading these boards. I wonder if he has ever been a sock puppet or mutters under his breath “what’s with these nut cases. I’d like to see these Bozos run this freaking team, find an international that isn't a nut case, and work with Counce.”

For those of you (like me) who missed the show last night, it is on the stations website. It's in the AudioVault section of the site.

    Enjoy!
