Cougars are going in hostile ground tonight to take on the Laraza. Obviously a team we can beat so far this season 2-0 against them with both wins at home but its gonna take a totally different effort then they have showed the past 2 games. Still no Chris Handsor, Brian Farber or Tony Sutton tonight so again the new guys are gonna have to step it up to stay in the 6th and final playoff spot.

    GO COUGARS!!!!

Time for the team to show us fans and the league that we are not some pushover as it almost appeared in the last few games.

We all know they can do it, just let's hope they are mentally able to focus and bring us home 1 or 2 road wins this week!

    GO COUGARS!!!

I hope the Laraza have MISL cast up in their stadium so we can see it play by play and not have to wait for the updates on the Cougar page.

Semir and Tovar havethe got to score some tonite. And the new guys have got to go out there and play with some energy. Santos needs to do better than the 0-2 against the goalie like in the last game and the defense needs to get in front of the ball 3 blocks in a game is not gonna get things done either.

Ill be on here watching every play or listening if possible to discuss whats going on...

    GO COUGARS!!!

The fans are still behind ya

Well so much for that so far 9-0 Laraza have no idea who scored and who showed up for the Cougars looks like Tovar may have not made the trip he had the flu. Looks like maybe they are just leaving the goal wide open for em tonite.

Well its only in 2nd qtr so there maybe still hope.....do you believe in miracles.
    GO COUGARS!!!!

That was a huge game. California could have been 2 1/2 ahead of Monterrey, but now sit just 1/2 game ahead with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Genoni Martinez has been on fire with 31 points (11 goals, 6 assists) in his last 7 games.

Honestly now after sleeping on it and then getting up and seeing the Cougars article in the record this morning and Bernies comments about a good team beating a wounded team I am starting to agree with the people that are saying get rid of Bernie. Again he is passing blame and the squad is blaming the injuries for their current crap play. Sorry Bernie but if 2-3 players are your entire team you have bigger problems then you think. Seriously they have played the last 6 games like a team who is just waiting for people to come back instead of proving to others that they can win they are proving that they dont care. I dont know how you can be a major sports team in a league and have that mind set. The players should be ashamed of their play and the coach should be kicking himself for not having anyone prepared. There needs to be some big changes here in Stockton after the last home game with a huge 6500 person crowd and playing like crap. You think any of those first timers are coming back to watch another butt whoopin. Come on Cougars wake the f up and get back on the horse and stop waiting around for everyone to get healthy.

Actually, I think in today's MISL, having three key players out with injuries makes a huge difference. Look at the Blast. They played poorly for awhile while Neto and others were out, but now that the Blast is healthy, they're playing great. After this season's expansion, teams don't have as much depth and two or three injuries to key players makes a big difference.

Not true the blast began the season 5-0 remember. But yeah it does make a huge diffrence being without Handsor, Farber and Sutton right now however losing is one thing and getting blown out night in and night out is another.

Milwaukee is doing OK without Todd Dusosky and recently lost Troy Dusosky and has played a good part of the year without Oliviero, Ackah and King. Of course they still have Howes and Leite.

Injuries have affected the Cougars, but even if you played a whole game with four field players you shouldn't give up 21 straight points. They shouldn't be getting embarrassed every game. It seems like they don't even believe they can compete anymore.

I completly agree either they dont think they can or they dont care. Like I said I believe they looked forward to getting there guys back on the 15th and forgot there were 7 games before then they had to play also. I dont even know anymore I am completly frustrated. This is too many guys to get killed by this much in something should have been changed by now.

Bernie's comments in the paper make him look foolish. Past 3 games, I don't
know, we look horrible, its embarressing, I don't have any answers....

Well, if you have no answers, time to lace up, go to the field, and hand
over the coaching to someone else.

My point exactly isnt it the coaches job to figure it. Hell where is Tony at hes not playing cause of injury maybe he can figure it out. Someone needs to do something.
