Does anyone here care? Binghamton is tearing it up in the playoffs, sweeping Worcester 3-0 in the first round and taking a 2-0 lead against Bridgeport in the Eastern Conference Semi's. The Sens are playing very well and there are a number of standouts on the team, especially noting Joe Murphy and Chris Bala. Spezza came back for two games and is returning to Ottawa today, but to be honest he was a dissapointment in last nights game. I will be honest when I say that Bridgeport's goalie, DiPietro, is going to be one hell of a goalie one day. We were taunting him all game and gave him a lot of hell, but if it weren't for him the Sens could have easily won 6-2. Emery ain't so bad either What's also surprising is Manitoba's lead against Hamilton, I know it's only 1-0 but still, I don't think anyone thought they'd get that far. I'm a Chicago Wolves fan and have been for some time. They've been kicking ass the last couple of years and hopefully will continue to do so.
I didn't think Manitoba would get past the first round because they had to play all the games in Portland.
Well I hope Manitoba pull it off, after the Sens take the semi's against Bridgeport I'd like to see them play Manitoba, which they have yet to.
Why did Manitoba have to play all their games in Portland? Joe Muprhy? Dante, are you kidding me? Is this the train wreck, neurotic, first overall pick turned bust who alienated his teammates more than do anything Joe Murphy? He's still playing hockey, damn! Next season Larimer County, by Fort Collins, is supposed to get a Central HL team. We need more minor league hockey out here in the Rockies.
