Taremi is better than every single scrub playing in La Liga. He will score a hat-trick on Atletico as revenge in Portugal. If Benfica played a La Liga team in the Champions League we would have gotten screwed over too. It's happened before.

I kind of followed you up to this point, but what a goal Taremi scored for Porto last night! If his goal against Chelsea in the UCL was picked as the best goal of the UCL last season, this one will end up being goal of the season in Portugal.

Another Iranian player has been signed by a Portuguese club. Mohammad Mohebi has signed with Santa Clara. I think thats now four Iranians in the Portuguese league. Portuguese scouts are clearly paying attention to Iran. That's a very good sign. Our league generally is the best at finding gems from all over the world.
Best of luck to Mohebi, but he is mostly mediocre and IMO there were/are better players from Iran for his position that Santa Clara could have signed without breaking the bank. But the Portuguese league/clubs have signed some of our best goalies recently (including Beiranvand), mostly because another Iranian goalie (Abedzadeh) did well in Portugal before moving to Spain this season.
He will probably come back to Portugal sometime in the near future. We are seeing a shift in the Iberian Peninsula. 3-0 Benfica over Barcelona and 1-0 Porto over Atletico in my opinion. This is just the beginning.
They have a larger population, more money etc. If you consider Portugal's disadvantages we have to go through and the talent we still manage to plunge forward, we are naturally better.
