But at least we didn't beat up our own players?

    You really are.

Conceicao is THE top manager domestically. Will go on to do great things abroad.

True, having AEK and Ajax in the group would place Porto in dead last :ROFLMAO:

Don't hate the player, hate the game ;)

He still worries me. I feel like he can snap at any second if things are not going well. He has managed to stay cool in rough times so far.

Umm Ajax is a legit team. 2 years removed from a Europa League final, dominating domestically and spending big money on players. They've got money and are light-years ahead of any Portuguese Team.

They didn't exactly smack Benfica around in the 2 games. Dominating the Dutch league is like domination the Greek league but yeah, Ajax does look good.

I've never been a fan of firing managers during the season. It accomplishes nothing most of the time. A new manager needs the offseason to get up to speed with his new players and to form a cohesive strategy. I think hiring a new manager during the season only works if the previous manager had fallout with most of the players. That's just not the case with RV. Give him until the end of the season.

At least they don't defy expectations. If we were in that group, i bet we would somehow make it difficult for ourselves. We made the Champions League quarterfinals a few years ago but ever since then it's been cagou after cagou.

His passion is one of the things i like the most about him. Reminds me of Guardiola with all of that. He's very active on the sidelines. It shows you that he's got answers. Whether they are right or wrong depends on the end result of the game but none the less, he's very prompt with right answers more often than not.

Thanks to the VAR helping Porto today. Clear PK by Brahimi and the ref ignores it. Goes to VAR, and they ignore it. Golden Whistle strikes again.

The one where the Boavista player makes a nice turn and his foot comes into contact with Brahimi's foot when he was already diving to the ground without the ball? Jonas or Neymar would approve of the dive. In the EPL, he would of received a yellow for that dive.

Boavista was just hacking all game long with nothing to worry and Sergio got the boot. Yeah, that Golden whistle is working overtime :ROFLMAO: PDC is just making it rain on these refs....

What's next, Boavista was paid off to let Porto score?

Benfica SAD won't go to trial for the multiple crimes it was accused of in the E-Toupeira case. Only Paulo Goncalves is going to trial.

Porto is the new Colinho. They've been helped tremendously by the refs. Telles gets away with fouling a Rio Ave player in the box, Brahimis goal is offside, and Maxi throws an elbow to Rio Ave player in the ground, ref ignored it then gives Coentrao a red for complaining about.

I knew Sporting lost when I read your post and I was right. Time to go cry with Fabio Coentrao
