Still praying, really really praying for my country of Ghana to qualify for Qatar. Not only do we have new talent coming into the squad but a new coach on top of it...I just really want to see my Black Stars back on the world stage

https://www.youtube.com/fifatv will have video in English and French in most countries. 36 of the 47 countries it cannot be watched in are in Africa, and the reason FIFA cannot stream in those countries is that a company owns the rights. I am in the USA, and I will watch little or none, but I still like that I can watch. 40 of the 154 qualifiers this month are in Africa, and the first game is Central African Republic vs. Cabo Verde (Cape Verde Islands) at 2:00 P.M. local/3:00 P.M. Central European Time/9:00 A.M. USA Eastern. Wikipedia says it will be in in Douala, Cameroon. Wikipedia says these September games will be in neutral sites:

Group A: Niger vs. Burkina Faso in Marrakesh, Morocco on September 2
Group A: Djibouti vs. Niger in Rabar, Morocco on September 6
Group A: Burkina Faso vs. Algeria in Marrakesh, Morocco on September 7
Group C: Central African Republic vs. Cabo Verde (Cape Verde Islands) in Douala, Cameroon on September 1
Group D: Malawi vs. Mozambique in Johannesburg, South Africa on September 7
Group E: Mali vs. Rwanda in Agadir, Morocco on September 1
Group H: Namibia vs. Congo in Johannesburg, South Africa on September 2
Group I: Guinea-Bissau vs. Guinea in Nouakchott, Mauritania on September 1

Those are eight games, which is one-fifth (20 percent) of this month's games.

    Here are seven articles.

https://www.fifa.com/news/past-glories-inspire-sudans-present is titled "Past glories inspire Sudan's present."

https://www.fifa.com/football-development/fifa-forward/news/key-leap-forward-nicaraguan-football is titled "Bounou: There's not a bad national team in Africa." Yassine Bounou is Morocco's goalkeeper. He plays for Sevilla in Spain and won the 2019-2020 Europa League.

https://www.fifa.com/news/cuper-hoping-to-make-the-leopards-roar is titled "Cuper hoping to make the Leopards Roar." Hector Cuper coaches DR Congo.

https://www.fifa.com/news/duarte-senegal-favourites-anything-can-happen is titled "Duarte: Senegal the favourites but anything can happen." Togo’s Portuguese coach is Paulo Duarte, and the article compares it to World Cup 2006 Qualifying, when Togo surprisingly won a group over Senegal, who reached the World Cup 2002 Quarterfinals. Now Togo down from a FIFA Rankings peak of 36th to 133rd.

https://www.fifa.com/news/mugabi-there-should-be-no-limits-on-ugandas-ambition is titled "Mugabi: There should be no limits on Uganda's ambition." Bevis Mugabi is a Ugandan defender. Playing for Motherwell in Scotland, he jumped 75 centimeters to head the ball when it was 262 centimeters above the ground to score a goal, which broke Cristiano Ronaldo's record of jumping 71 centimeters to head the ball when it was 256 centimeters above the ground. Uganda goes to the country east of them Kenya, and then hosts top seed Mali. They need at least 4 points to contend to win the group considering they will have to go to Mali.

https://www.fifa.com/news/african-world-cup-qualifiers-preview is titled "Giants enter Africa's race to Qatar."

https://www.fifa.com/news/ten-players-to-watch-africa-world-cup-qualifying is titled "Ten players to watch in Africa." They are Mohamed Salah of Egypt, Sadio Mane of Senegal, Kalidou Koulibaly of Senegal, Edouard Mendy of Senegal, Riyad Mahrez of Algeria, Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, Franck Kessie of Cote d'Ivoire, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon, Thomas Partey of Ghana, and Naby Keita of Guinea.

https://www.fifa.com/news/no-limits-for-talented-tanjy-as-mauritania-chase-world-cup-breakthrough is titled "No limits for talented Tanjy as Mauritania chase World Cup breakthrough." Hemeya Tanjy plays for the Mauritanian national team and was the leading scorer in the Mauritanian league. He uses his left foot because of Lionel Messi. Their group has Tunisia and Zambia who have had success recently, along with Equatorial Guinea. They opened by losing 2-1 hosting Zambia.

https://www.fifa.com/news/-broos-logarusic-south-africa-zimbabwe-derby-interview is titled "Broos and Logarusic braced for southern Africa derby." Hugo Broos coaches South Africa, and Zdravko Logarusic coaches Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe hosted, and it was 0-0. Top seed Ghana won, but 1-0 hosting Ethiopia isn't impressive.

https://www.fifa.com/news/akonnor-eyeing-world-cup-return-for-black-stars is titled "Akonnor eyeing World Cup return for Black Stars." Charles Akonnor is Ghana's coach.

https://www.fifa.com/news/penalty-hero-eyeing-liberia-world-cup-landmark is titled "Penalty hero eyeing Liberia World Cup landmark." Ashley Williams is Liberia's goalkeeper. At age 19, he had a 90+5th minute penalty kick at Sierra Leone for Liberia to win the aggregate 3-2. Liberia won the first leg 3-1 at home, and if Sierra Leone scored the penalty kick, they would have advanced on away goals. In the FIFA Rankings used for the draw, Sierra Leone was 34 spots above Liberia. The penalty kick save was on September 8, 2019. Williams said that left-footed kickers normally shoot penalty kicks to the goalkeeper's right, and right-footed kickers normally shoot penalty kicks to the goalkeeper's left. From the shooters' point of view, it means shooters normally use their left foot to kick left or their right foot to kick right. I do not remember ever hearing a penalty kick strategy other than random guessing or having watched the shooter's prior kicks. He plays for Real Balompedica Linense in Segunda Division B, which is the third level in Spain. He wants to follow in the footsteps of Manuel Neuer and play for Bayern Munich. The article has highlights of both legs in September 2019. Liberia started Round 2 with a 2-0 loss at Nigeria, with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring both goals. He plays for Leicester City, and he used to play for Manchester City.

Every team played 2 of 6 games except for Guine and Morocco, whose game was postponed because of a coup in Guinea.

https://www.fifa.com/news/poulsen-and-the-taifa-stars-a-perfect-match is titled "Poulsen and the Taifa Stars – a perfect match." Kim Poulsen is Tanzania's coach.

https://www.flashscore.com/football/africa/world-cup/fixtures/ has the schedule. CAF has 41 games from tomorrow (Wednesday 6 October) through Tuesday 12 October. All 40 remaining teams play twice except for Guinea and Morocco who play three games including on 12 October to make up the game scheduled for last month and postponed due to the coup d'etat in Guinea. There are 2 games on 6 October, 8 on 7 October, 6 on 8 October, 6 on 9 October, 8 on 10 October, 5 on 11 October, and 6 on 12 October.

https://www.fifa.com/news/oumarou-making-plans-for-niger is titled "Oumarou making plans for Niger." Youssouf Oumarou plays defense for Niger.

Equatorial Guinea won 2-0 hosting Zambia, and Central African Republic scored in the 90+1st to win at a Nigeria team 90 spots above them in the FIFA Rankings. Nigeria is still in first, but first and last are separated by 3 points.

Zambia, Mauritania, Rwanda, Sudan, and Madagascar are among the teams who could be eliminated this month. Benin has 7 points from 3 games and leads a group that also has DR Congo, Tanzania, and Madagascar.

https://www.fifa.com/news/lions-lead-the-way-in-africa is titled "Lions lead the way in Africa." It incorrectly says that DR Congo does not contol their own destiny. DR Congo (5 points) goes to Tanzania (7 points) and hosts Benin (7 points). If DR Congo win both games, they will have 11, and Tanzania and Benin will have 10 or fewer.

Morocco and Senegal won their groups to advance to Round 2, and the other eight groups will be decided in November.
