I'm surprised there's no thread for this movie. Written by Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard, directed by Goddard (a Buffy alum). I saw this last night and it was ridiculously entertaining. I can't wait to hear people's thoughts about it.
Saw it Friday night. First half pretty good. Descended into outright stupidity once the elevator part started
I thought it was brilliant. I can't wait to get in on DVD so I can re-watch that very part and catch all the details, all the different creatures and the different deaths. I guess that type of humor isn't for everyone, but I thought it was hilarious.
Finally saw this today. It's absolutely ridiculous and I loved every minute of it. I'm also anxious to rent it so I can go back and catch the details. Fun stuff.
I saw it yesterday, not a big horror fan but I enjoyed it. What I especially liked was the Pennywise the Clown tribute in the second half.
