Aaaand Venezuela scored. One to go! TS was at fault twice. He made the foul, then failed to mark the scorer.
Oh wow. Maybe that 2-2 I wanted will come after all. But now I don't dare wanting it too much, it could turn into a 3-2, gulp!
I think Dunga's tactical decisions were poor - you were doing really well by keeping possession (for once) - with all the defenders now, you're playing like an English team - punt it forward and hope for the best.
This is why i hate this negative bullshit, subbing on defenders when coasting 2-0, asking to lose possession & invite pressure. This negative mentality is a plague in Brasil, i can only imagine the remaining members of 82 watching the game and cursing at the screen
I agree that it wasn't a foul, but the pressure had been building and it's still there. No reason for it.
Don't overreact. This is an extreme case. Dunga was probably trying to rest players. Venezuela needed 3 in 15 mins. This sequence of subs has basically never happened in my memory.
Why the ******** is there still persistance in 2 defensive midfielders, when 90% of the players are more comfortable with the ball at their feet....and not defending. Barcelona never play with more than 1 DM, neither do Arsenal, they both attack similar when in possession....it just makes the players suffer
