2-1. Scocco gets one in the 1st half off pressuring la salida. Suazo equalizes with a clinical finish. Cachas nets the winner one a great one-timer to the low far post 2 minutes from time.

    3 points, finally.

Pumas is still awful. Monterrey was the better team and had Severo Meza not totally sucked in his crosses, they may have gotten the win. Still it's great that we won. Still the teams needs to improve a lot.

I don't think Monterrey was the better team but Pumas did not play well either. Hopefully this will be a bust of motivation.:)

I think maybe Rafa your frustration is getting the better of you, I think Pumas were better overall, but once again didn't really make it count, our first goal showed Sambueza and Nach at their coolest, very lucky it was such a bad pass, but Sambueza showed a clear head with a cool pass, and Scocco made no mistake one-on-one.

Their goal was AWFUL again, espinosa skinned like he wasn't there, and AWFUL by Humberto Gonzalez, just drifting magnetic like towards the ball, leaving his man on his own in the box.

On the whole we had the best of it, but how many times must i say it SOLARI IS A ********ING DONKEY, as always whenever I really start to slag Íñiguez off he pops up and makes or scored the winner - Scocco given too much space, swerved past his man lovely, and perfectly weighted ball for Íñiguez to finish very very well ..... but we should have wrapped it up ages before and we should not have conceded... maybe Pikolin will get another chance, is he injured, or just paying the price of his petulant walk-out last year?

Let's hope the win settles them, and allows them to go on... why do we have to have this settling in period at the beginning of EVERY season with Tuca? Did his previous teams have this problem?

I stand by what I say. I think Monterrey was the better team, they had the ball more and had a better half but they really had problems finishing and with crosses. I thought the game was ending as a tie but the Pumas goal was totally against the run of play. If anything Monterrey had the better chances but as I said, Severo Meza totally stunk with his crosses and he wasted them away.

Solari is your typical goal poacher. Doesnt really look like hes gotten many opportunities. Iniguez? What can I say about him. Don't like how he plays but he can change a game in the blink of an eye.

I think the real issue though is our back line. Why is Israel playing as a dmid and not a right back? Doesnt Espinoza usually play dmid? And whos idea was it to sign Carlos Humberto Gonzalez?

Solari is, but he's not a very good one....

I like Castro at dmid, and I have said before that since Tuca has been using him there it has helped Leandro's game a lot, being playing the best (overall) since Galindo left, and I think there's something in that.

If I remember rightly Carlos Humberto Gonzalez seemed like a panic buy when Pikolin went.. but he had a decent Apertura, I think. Maybe Pikolin will get a chance to reclaim his position now?
