Possible lineups for tonight's match as posted on Kicker.de

Genk: Moons - Vaesen, Matoukou, Claessens, Sigurdsson - Beslija, Wamfor, De Condé, Daerden - Kpaka, Vandenbergh

Dortmund: Warmuz - Evanilson, Madouni, Bergdölmo, Dede - Oliseh, Kringe - Ricken - Odonkor, Senesie, Ewerthon

I worry about the central defense. In my opinion, Bergdolmo is slow and Madouni is unreliable. Madouni is great just backing up a good, fast, better defender such as Christoph Metzelder, but showed us last season he's not very good on his own back there with no one to hold his hand.

That being said, I think we will still have enough in attack to win.

Re: BVB v. RC Genk (UEFA Intertoto Cup) [R]

Hi Keith, you should add [R] to the topic if this thread is going to be the one that shows the result of the match. Many out there (don't think BVB supporters but in general) tape matches.

    Regarding the match tonight:
I am somehow worried how our central defence will perform. I trust Madouni, but in my opinion Bergdolmo has his best days behind him. On left- or right-back position he is ok. Central defence...no please! Maybe Demel will replace him.

Hoepfully Senesie, Ewerthon and Odonkor can score one or two goals.

Hey, was an away match! :D

UI-Cup: KRC Genk - Borussia Dortmund
Most fans were unsure about how the mainly young and unexperienced team would present itself in Fenix stadium of Genk. Their doubts proved to be not without a cause. Nothing glittered, nothing was gold – except the result....

Match report is now online! http://www.schwatzgelb.com

    Some more pics will follow.

We won. That's all that matters to me. Under Sammer, I feel we would have found a way to lose this match.

I admit he wasn't the best of coaches, but I feel we could've done alot worse then Sammer.

Keith's Response: I still feel Sammer will become one of Germany's best trainers. But, we couldn't break the club while waiting for him to reach this status.

The players regressed under him and the results spoke for themselves.

I hope Sammer finds his niche in Stuttgart. Yes, we could have done a lot worse than Sammer.

We could have done a lot better too and I think we have.

Sammer wasn't a "trainer" he was a "taskmaster".

I think BvM is a true trainer. A teacher. A tactician. Two talents Matthias Sammer is still missing.

Manoj, I take it there isn't going to be any NetRadio for this Saturday's return match with Genk either??

Well, BVB blew it today. Lost 2-1 at home. Could be the beginning of the end of BVB as a "big club".

They sold their players because they were in big debts. They need money bad now. :(

That might be overstating it a bit, but it's certianly a huge blow. BVB has to reach a CL place now in this season to regain it's status.

I have no idea how they pulled this off.

Jonam what's the mood in Dortmund after this?

I don't even want to talk about this--sad times.

By the way. . .who is the bloke with the Pujols/Matty Mo avatar? Morris is a friend of mine. I used to work for the Birds and am a lifelong die hard fan.

My mood is ********. I was 6 days away from home and planned my trip in that way that on my way back to Berlin I could make a stop in Dortmund yesterday to attend the UI Cup semi... :-(

This will be a looong saaaaad season for BVB, I guess.... :-(((

Likely to miss the first leg of this season. Some say that he could be out forever... :-(

What a shame, he is truley one of the better defenders in Germany.
