I would like help consolidating the bizarre requests that Bush's $87 billion budget contains. Here are some I've come up with so far: -A month-long business course at $10,000 per pupil -$100 million to restore marshes in southern Iraq -$200 million to promote free enterprise -Two maximum security prisons, at $50,000 a bed
Re: Re: Bush's $87 billion for Iraq hmm, we have serious wetland problems in the United States as well... http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/democrat/5939930.htm guess Iraqi wetlands are more important than US wetlands
One issue with wetlands I have heard mentioned is the fact that there are different types of wetlands. The ones that are all the rage are not actually doing the job or are part of the regions in which they are being placed. IE: it is a waste of time and money if you don't do it right.
