    Those of you who criticize the Bush Administration for its "cowboy diplomacy" are REALLY not going to like this.

    I'm ok with preemptive strikes against terrorists because they cannot be deterred but preemptive strikes against states are ill-advised. States can be deterred and the precidence of the world's leading power using preemptive srikes opens up the option to all potential powers.

    If Saddam Hussein is smart, he'll come up with the same policy for Iraq, thus morally justifying whateverthehell they can pull off in the US.

    It's an interesting question...which of Bush's policies would he be comfortable with other nations adopting. I mean, look how pissed he is that Germany won't go along with us. Imagine how mad he'd be if Germany adopted Bush's policies.
