Well yesterday was hot... stadium is questionable... lines are not good... and it was not a sell out... BUT what really bothers me the most is the way the "The Inferno" Fan club behaved. Sure chant... call out names of our own players but stop shouting profanities at visiting players and coaches.... especially accompolished players both on the national scene and international. This just makes Dallas look bad. I live here and I am a fan for both the Burn and the Galaxy. The Inferno was shouting "You Fat Bastard" to Sigi (LA's Coach)... it was after the game... he was walking on the pitch alone... and they shout at him. This coach just won the championship last year. They called Cobi Jones... "A half of Man"... I think some of these Inferno'ers need to take a look in the mirror before they shout that. I believe Cobi Jones has taken soccer to new levels in the US. They were yelling at anyone... more so than cheering their own team. Their drums are annoying... and most of them look like they don't even play the game yet understand it. They spend so much time trying to annoy the visiting team... they don't even pay attention to the game... it's like they are out their for attention. Very needy... I wish one day the whole stadium would join in on chants and songs... but they have to be chants and songs that come from us... and good ones. I just wish the Inferno would quit taking cheap shots... I'm sure they were all cheering on Cobi Jones at the World Cup... but when he comes to Dallas... he's bad? I don't think that's part of the game... Especially since England and Slovakia just got heavy punishments from FIFA for their fan's tactics... Come on Inferno... don't lower yourself... Your tactics are making me want to cheer on any Visiting Team so they will shut up the negativity coming from that section... just keep up the cheers...keep good vibes running... keep on shouting names... that was good... just chill on the below the belt comments...

I can't believe you liken Dallas fans calling Sigi a fat bastard to Slovakian fans hurling racist abuse towards Emile Heskey and Ashley Cole. And calling Cobi a "half man": Well, apparently Cobi has a 4 inch wang. You can draw your own conclusions. Some people really need to lighten up.
Wow, a Burn and Galaxy supporter. Why couldn't TommyMack do that? It may disturb you that LA Riot Squad also hurls abuse at visiting players although not racially. The Inferno are just doing their thing and if you don't like it, sit away from them. Part of home-field advantage is having the visitors feel uncomfortable & out of sync by the home fans.
I don't know anything else about the rest of your list as I watched the game on TV, but the drums sounded pretty good on TV. It sounded like there was actually some atmosphere there.
and by the way, the Inferno is not a club. It's a supporters group, as in supporting the team for 7 years straight, in more ways than just buying tickets. Did I mention we've been buying season tickets for 7 years now?
I was in the Inferno when I lived in Dallas. They are TAME compared to the epithets shouted by the LA Riot Squad. I don't know who this soccermom is... and I'm dubious about her "Galaxy AND Burn" affections. She saw the game in Texas... and all I can say is that she needs to sit at the other side of the stadium. Yes - we have a 50 cent stadium. And yes a few Burn supporters could stand to jogging more often. I don't really have a point but I saw this post on teh BS home page and had to read it. Some of us are in shape and speaking for myself - I am ripped, just so you know.
