vertonghen is ill, and paulinho is a tactical decision.

Well that's something I've never heard attributed to little Paul. Normally it's "well nothing else is working, might as well use him."

settling for way too many shots from outside the box.

Kane's hardly seen the ball in the first half. one shot that I can think of. time to do some tactical stuff at half Poch - find some space for these guys to work in

    A pretty nothing first half.

No idea what the tactical idea of playing Paulinho was in that half, literally invisible. Not helped press Burnley, not offered anything to help Kane.

Townsend for Paulinho an obvious change.

Skysports halftime analysis said that Kane has fewest touches of any Spurs player, even Vorm. 22 versus Vorm's 23. That's the key for Spurs, get the ball through. Burnley playing so compactly we have to rip them apart somehow, probably with some run-on over the top balls. Who do we have that's fast?.... oh, crap.

Reminds me of the league cup, sending Walker out injured to play the second half.

well if you weren't confident with chiriches at CB, how do you feel about Davies in that spot now?

We are playing like it is a 'kick around' not like this is 3 points to own to position for the top 4. Lack of pride, and no excuse.

So many overvalued players to get rid of in the summer.
