2 wins on the trot, Woohoo! And the way we played last time out at Leicester, let’s have some more of that please!! :D

Add into the mix that Burnley’s not in great form lately, had to play today (and drew) whilst we got a rest. We should walk this right? IDK, I’ve got that banana peel feeling in the back of my mind.

So, to avoid that, I’d like us to replicate some key features from last time: high tempo & urgency right from the get go, high pressing as well (with a full week’s rest we should be up for that physically)

Team news: the only fresh injury is ESR and thankfully Mikel said it doesn’t seem too serious, though he seems unlikely for Saturday. So it’ll be interesting to see how positive a contribution Odegaard makes in his absence.

If I was coach, I’d be thinking of something like this:

    Leno
Bellerin... Holding (if recovered)... Gabriel... Tierney
    Xhaka... Partey
    Pepe... Odegaard... Saka
    Auba

Must win here. I think if spurs can think them why can’t we?

I didn't watch that match, but I'm assuming Spurs went out with a super offensive effort right from the get go. I.e. a good offense is the best defense.

As you may know I'm a big believer of that, and have seen it pay dividends for us. As long as we have the collective fitness levels and specific coaching to pull it off... which we should. We basically did that last match at Leicester and it was arguably our best match of the season in many ways.

The only thing I don't know is the state of the pitch at Turf Moor these days. Is it good enough to support our penchant of on-the-floor play? If not, that could be a factor that Spurs didn't have to deal with because they hosted.

    Have to win here.

Do that, then get a modest return from the next three (Sp*rs, West Ham, Liverpool; I’d be happy with 4 points here) and we have a real shot at top 6 and an outside chance of top four. The run-in consists of 7 matches we should be favored to win and one toss-up on current form.

    I think we might see
    Laca
    Auba, Odegaard, Saka
    Xhaka Partey
    Tierney, Gabriel, Mari, Bellerin
    Leno

Which is the toss up, Everton or Chelsea. As it stands, Everton are only a point behind Chelsea with a game in hand. Either way Arsenal need a least 10 points and preferably all 15 from Sp*rs, West Ham, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea to have have any chance at Top 4. They have to beat the teams in front of them and all 5 of these teams are in front of Arsenal. Ten points from these games would probably get them top 6, provided they don’t screw up the more winnable games.

Chelsea. They’re the better team since Tuchel took over, in my estimation, of course.

Nothing yet but sounds like the injury wasn't as bad as first thought. I would imagine we rest him.

LOLOLOLOL I hate that I was right.

No Cedric and Chambers starting at RB is quite the surprise.

Not the lineup I’d like to see. Willian?... who jinxed that?! And Chambers?... WTF!

But I guess it has a lot to do with the Olympiacos tie coming up.

And hopefully it’s good enough to dispatch Dyche’s thugs.

    :D

p.s. Showing Pepe how it's done. Solo effort with stepovers and beating keeper at near post.

Turf Moor with the prominent rainbow pride flag always seems incongruous to me.
