Doesn't seem like he's going to scout any Yanks by catching those two games. If he's smart he'll watch our team or catch a Galaxy practice or game.
Thats what I was hinting at He's probably going to take in an MLS game or two I should hope. Plus, USA is playing in Gold cup. He could see something he likes from (for example) Brad Davis.
The really smart Euro clubs that are interested in scouting here will be in Ct. this week scouting most of the country's top youth players at ESP. That's where Arsenal found Danny Karbassiyoon two years ago and I'm guessing there are other such players there this year.
Davis could never get a work permit. If he leaves with any American players, they'll need to be regular Nats or EU passport holders.
You mean most of the top players whose families have a couple grand per year to spend on premier soccer. But I guess that's a topic for another forum.
Technically, no. ESP is fully paid for. As is ODP at that level. But, of course, not many kids playing without shoes in dirt fields try out for ODP.
that was a fun article - especially where he talked about all the guys going to unc and then how we sucked this past year - does anyone else remember that or am i just making it up in my head bc unc's coach wasted the nations top recruiting class okay enough rambling . . .
