    RE: INJURY STATUS

    According to the Gs website:

    Carlos Ruiz---------Sprained Right Ankle----OUT
    Peter Vagenas------Strained Right Groin----OUT
    Tyrone Marshall-----Sprained Left MCL-----Doubtful
    Danny Califf---------Sprained Right MCL----Doubtful
    Jovan Kirovski-------Sprained Right Foot-----Questionable
    Andreas Herzog---Contusion Right Quadricep--Questionable

Looks like a pretty good time to be playing the Galaxy. Losing to them in Dallas is the only loss I'm angry about. They really aren't that good with their league handouts, without them.............

    We could see something like:

    A. Moreno Ngwenya
    Torres Grabavoy Saragosa Wee-Man
    Lewis Suarez Bo Albright
    Hartman

    That's certainly beatable.

Dallas v LA on tape delay on ESPN2 at 12:30 a.m. Saturday night / Sunday morning.

    The MLSnet.com Game Preview

    My ESPN Soccer Net column

My first thoughts were that we didn't stand much of a chance - but as we get closer to the game, I get more optomistic.

    1. We will probably get a good dose of Jason Kreis and Cory Gibbs should be starting. Both of them will help our cause.

    2. LA is more injury riddled than I knew. INJURY REPORT: LOS ANGELES GALAXY - OUT: FW Carlos Ruiz (R ankle sprain); MF Peter Vagenas (groin surgery); DOUBTFUL: DF Tyrone Marshall (L MCL sprain); DF Danny Califf (R MCL sprain); QUESTIONABLE: FW Jovan Kirovski (R foot sprain); MD Andreas Herzog (R quadriceps contusion) ...

Even if Kirovski and Hezog do play, its sounds like they won't be 100%.

If we can get more than 1 goal - we just may get a point or a win out of this game.

    GO DALLAS BURN
    BEAT LA

    From Buzz's Tuesday practice report:

    Coach Clarke

    * "I am considering some changes this week. It will not be seven or eight, but I might change a couple things."

Anyone care to speculate on what those changes might be?

We should be able to capitalize on LA's injuries. But they are still not to be taken lightly.

Man, if we were to ever pound on the Galaxy at HDC, THIS is the time. We so need to pounce on this opportunity.

With that slow backline I sure would like to see the track star combo back together out front. If you need to play Jason then put him at right, center or left mid. Their outside backs do have speed though so don't know if that makes a case for Quill for defensive purposes or shouts for someone who can do more than run fast. The whole defense and team will probably look better with Gibbs back and the offense might be able to take more chances with their security blanket back.

    Lineup Guess

    - - - - - - - Garlick
    - - Salyer-Gibbs-Jolley-Gbandi
    - - - - Simo - - - - Oscar
    ROB - - - - - Kreis - - - - - Davis
    - - - - - - - - EJ

4-2-3-1 attacking early, score 2, drop back to 4-5-1, finish it.

    I hope.

Got to put the ball in the back of the net!!!

    Got to finish!!!!!!!!

    Otherwise there is no chance.

I still want to see Toni as the target, feeding to Jason shooting.

EJ can get comfy on the pine.

It is essential that we at least get a goal or two even if it is in a losing final outcome

Anybody listening to the Gals radio coverage?

The Teutonic Turd has announced that he expects the Burn to play for 0-0 draw because that is all we could hope for playing against his supreme team and in LA.

Here's hoping we put up a three spot on those a-holes.

Oh well. We can't play defensive now. Victorine scores. Sounds like Gibbs made a bad pass back to Garlick to start the sequence of events, but apparently Victorine abused Salyer.

So - what does this lineup look like. I just got to the audio for about the last 30 secs. of the 1st half. Is Talley playing centrally with Simo and Davis outside? Or Talley playing on the left?

Thanks for the info. Sounds as if we're getting killed. Announcers said at the half that the Galaxy controlled play - that Dallas created very little. Now, they are saying that Clarke will have to do something - Dallas has nothing going. They also just commented that Talley does not look the same player that he did in KC - he doesn't have the movement...

Man - they've had about 4 good chances in the first 6+ minutes of the 2h.
