Well. The Burn have played 3 games out in Southlake. What does eveyone think??When they add the new seats and paint the field, I think it will be great. Good location,good seats, clean restrooms. Man, what more could you want?? Ooppss....BEER..Oh well. Take one for the team, huh guys?? My unofficial poll of players.. Location..great..Stadium..pretty good... Turf...Hmmm how to say this...Dont like. Biggest complaint was the way the ball bounces..Before and after the rain.Hard to control a bouncing ball. Tends to die instead of bouncing. After the rain it was even worse. Field didn't seem too bad after two days of rain. Footing good but the feel of the turf was very spongy. Guess after the boys get used to it, that would be a little homefield advantage huh?? Rock on Dallas Burn..
1. New seats? As of right now,strike 1. 2. Paint the field? Strike 2 coming up. Have you ever heard of thing called spring football? It is a real big thing down in these parts. 3. What will be strike 3? So many things are potentially strike 3 that it really is sad.
That losing money at the clip they were losing money at the Bowl would have led to us not having the Burn around.
