BURN PARTNERS WITH 3RDDEGREE.NET FOR REPORTS FROM CHILE Buzz Carrick, editor of www.3rddegree.net, an independent internet site devoted to the Burn, will be accompanying the team on their two-week trip to Chile. While in Chile, Carrick will post daily practice reports, game summaries, player and coaches interviews as well as updates on how the team is spending their free time in Chile. Additionally, he will provide photos of training, games and other various activities of the team. His submissions will be posted on 3rddegree.net as well as dallasburn.com and mlsnet.com.
so when is the burn going to get rid of their site and have yours as the official one? it can't occur soon enough great site
I am not sure giving up independence is a good idea. The problem with being official is that you have to be positive. We prefer to tell both sides of the story. Or the side we feel is more acurate anyway.
Wednesday March 12th. It's a long flight, so our first report should be up some time on Thursday the 13th. Thanks. Glad you like the site. http://www.3rddegree.net/
While you guys are down there relaxing in the hotel at night turn your TV on to a show called Mekano. Watch for one of the members of the group Porto Seguro, her name is Paloma, "La Pops". It will make the whole trip worth it. Those Brazilian girls are just alittle bit better in all the right ways.
Oh yes, thats her. Whats nice is that in Chile around 6pm they have a thing called "tomar once" or "take eleven" and its time to sit around with family and friends and eat something, drink coffee or wine and talk about the days events. However it has become known as "La hora de La Pops" or "Pops hour" because now all anyone does is sit and watch Mekano and La Pops shake it.
Buzz posted the Day 1 and 2 reports on Thursday, and has posted the Day 3 and 4 reports today, including a match report of the Burn's slapping around of the Colo Colo U-23 team. No tributes yet on 3rd Degree to the kindness and beneficence of Burn GM Andy Swift, though I'm sure they're coming. www.3rddegree.net
I'm guessing the Burn are just trying to catch up to the Fire who sent four supporters to Morelia for an MFL playoff game. I'm still waiting for Curt Johnson's call
Ha. Paying 3rd Degree's expenses to do training camp in Chile and publish daily reports is light years ahead of 4 rt tickets to Mexico City, and a bus ride. wanker
