Stadium Cafe - corner of Addison Rd and Belt Line in Addison. GREAT place...watched a lot of NCAA basketball there. They have multiple BIG screen TV's and $2 brewhaha specials.

Let's ALL show up and show N. Dallas what they are missing by not going to the home games. It's our turn to buy GE a beer.

Dallas Burn Official Watching Party Has Been Moved

This Saturday’s Official Dallas Burn Watching Party is being moved to The Stadium Café. Come join us and cheer the team on as they look to put a spell on Tony Meola and the Kansas City Wizards. There will be good food, cold drinks (including $2.00 Budweiser and Bud Light draft and $2.00 well drinks) and some great Burn prizes given away at halftime.

The Stadium Café is located on the south east corner of Addison Road and Beltline Road… in the same center as Purdy’s and Bennedick’s Breakfast Restaurant.

    BURN vs. wiz

    SATURDAY MAY 22
    KICKOFF 7:30 CST

    STADIUM CAFE in Addison, TX
    4872 Beltine Rd

Damn, Damn, Damn! North Dallas again ;) right now it's looking 50/50 on a WTB sighting.

    do they sport HDTV?

that $2 burr better not be lonestar or keystone.

WuTang - We expect to see your smiling face come Saturday!

And no - the Beer is NOT Lone Star or Keystone!
And no - the big screen is not HD - we will be watching and listening to Dave Dir and Brad Sham call the wiz vs. Burn over local independent channel 52!

By the way - I live in Farmers Branch, which is typically 20 miles from anywhere - especially anything Burn related....this time it's less than 10! Woo-hoo.

The BURN was handing out flyers at the SJ match stipulating Trinity Hall! You would think that logistical details for panflute blowers could have been skirted. I despise being relegated by a band; however I do understand Trinity Halls biz. decision. I'll set my compass, shoot and azimuth and head north and support The Inferno & BURN. :)

i guess i don't understand the business decision, becaus judging by the crowd last weekend, and that was the first watching party there, right?, i'd say we hold our own. at least enough to share it.

I've yet to attend a WP. I would like some pointers....
    How early do we show?
Will there be a designated section?
Do we seat at tables or bar?
Just getting my logistics in order...

WELCOME BalonPie - we look forward to your support! :)

For a good spot for viewing - about 45 minutes to an hour before kickoff. Our crowd last weekend was around 50 people. So, kickoff sat is at 7:30 - get there between 6:30 and 7:00. Of course, they serve real food and are having a drink special for us ($2.00 wells drinks and $2.00 draft bud and bud light).

The area in front of our big screen is the 'designated area' - Stadium Cafe is a big place with lots of TVs - some big screen, some regular size.

We sit in the 'best available seat' based on arrival time. Table or Bar, or leaning on a post, whatever works.

    See you there!

Back spasms this week <sigh> Maybe I need to go see Quill's physical therapist? Quill seems to be playing through his back spasms. Maybe a watching party is just what I need!

just clarification on trinity hall...between the band and why..the band will be entertaining a large crowd of low-income and disadvantged..kinda like a pre-summer thing..okay kids here are the plans for the summer.. soccer, rec centers.b-ball,generally activitys to keep em outa trouble and further there brains..it really is a great idea..just wish we couda(the burn) had a presence as a great way to bring in more players.... just re-read post d## i coulda used something like that when i was child, might taught me spelling, any i'm sure to some of ya'll how to use caps and typing and formatting sentence structure :): frank

I think the idea is that Trinity Hall will host watching parties that start and end early. They make too much money off the bands. If the watching parties move between Trinity Hall and the Stadium Cafe, I will be satisfied. As long as Chaz provides us with adaquate notice, of course.

    Cheers!

I plan on making the next watching party. I need a soccer friendly fix since there are 3 more weeks until the next home game. See everyone there.

Good deal. There wasn't a huge turnout last night -- I'm guessing it was due to the location change. Then again, that was my first WP so maybe that was normal turnout. Good times, even with the disappointment of a 3rd loss. See ya next week!

    Define 'huge'....

about half of the people there were for the watching party...close to 50 people...enough so that some had to stand up by the bar because the viewing area from the door all the way to the big screen had no seating left!

Course - not every one wore their RED, and not everyone was as vocal in their support as you guys up front (way to go!!!!), and it's well known that the more drink you have::the more difficult it is to do math
