Ten games this year on Channel 52. Pretty good! Isn't that more games on local TV than we've typically had in the past?

    Cool.

So I assume that those 3 road games NOT covered by KFWD and ESPN2 are being covered by the home team's station?

Any guesses as to what the home TV schedule looks like? I assume that the only games shown would be games picked up by the road team's network? Or would KFWD pick up some home games too (course you would figure they would have announced that at this time too).

There's one home game on the schedule in this release, the opener on April 12th. The rest are all road games. I don't remember the last time all road games were offered on TV, so this is pretty cool.

There were also some rumors about Fox Sports World carrying some MLS games. Has anyone heard anything about that?

Exactly. It's not a coincidence that they're against the MetroStars and the Revolution, since both teams televise all their games, home and away.

Incidentally, the Burn have planned it this way for a few years now. They know that they can't televise all their road games, due to cost concerns. But when making a decision about which games not to televise locally, they always go with the ones that they know will at least be on the Shootout.

And they at least provide English radio coverage for all road games that aren't televised locally, which isn't as good as television, but it beats nothing. And some teams in this league don't even get that much.
Pretty much. With the exception of the opener on ESPN2, all the home games are going to be on the Shootout, assuming that the visitors televise the game. So far, everybody that has released their local TV schedules are televising their visits to Dragon Stadium.

    Very nice. Thank you.

There is nothing worse (relatively speaking) than knowing a Burn game is going on and NOT being able to watch it.

Are there going to be watching parites? If so, where?

Are watching parties only for the games on the Shootout package?

The Burn did announce that Inside Soccer would return on Fox 1190, is there official word on match coverage? Will it be on 1190.

And does anyone know what's up with Spanish. Last year it was KESS, it appears that station has moved to FM and been 'rebranded', will the Burn matches continue, does anyone know. I'd like to update our site with the 2003 info.

    Thanks,

They haven't said yet. I could see them only having the three Shootout games on the radio. But more germaine to your website is the fact that 1190 no longer netcasts.
